We're back (at least temporarily) at the top of the league!

Having thought about, Arsenal have the worst hair in the PL. Between the '80s porn frizzes of Luiz and Gendouzi (sp? who cares?), the sleazy mechanic 'do of Ceballos, and whatever conehead thing Aubameyang has going on, that is one dodgy of collection of styles.

And their coach is some kind of Iberian Dracula. The whole club is evil, I tell ya! Evil!

You can talk to 1-0-0-1-0-0-1 aka 73, but he hates soccer. :outtahere:

Any thoughts on Legia Warsaw drawing with Rangers in the Europa League?

Well, I hate Legia, so I'm glad they lost. Thanks for the question, Nova.

France really laid an egg yesterday, playing the Andorra national anthem, while going up against Albania.

...and the stadium announcer offered a sincere apology to Armenia! :16ton:

These two are going to play again in Albania in November. If I were the host, I'd play the Algerian anthem for the French. :P

International football can be a sorry watch at times. England are being uncharacteristically competent but free of thrills (until tournament time, when our anxieties should return). Netherlands are taking care of business though.

I agree. England has no problems with lesser teams, where you can expect at least a three goal win every time. Troubles start when they have to go up against the big boys like Germany or Spain. As far as group A goes, the fact that a complete underdog, Kosovo, is challenging for second place, tells you how easy of a task awaits England.

Are they really going to fine the French 10.000 EURO for the anthem mishap? I think I have that much under the mattress. :codger:

UEFA are very clear about their fining policies. 10,000 for mishaps, 20,000 for hate crimes/racist abuse, 50000 for mass casualties and 800 billion for displaying an unauthorized sponsors` logo.

This is one of those classic butterfly effect moments. If Salah had scored, if the (super-incredibly-dodgy-and-questionable) penalty hadn't been given, if LFC hadn't been pushing for an equalizer. They looked the more likely side for most of the match and the 2-0 flatters Napoli.

We'll even the score back at our place!

Oh, so, uh . . . we're third in the league, baby! I might want to swap my ManU and Chelski predictions.

We're gonna win it!

Watch out for Brighton & Hove. ;)

 I sat through Newcastle- BHA yesterday due to being under the weather on the couch. An hour and a half of my life I'll never get back! :P
