This is just like the end of the Itch and Scratchy and Marge episode in season 2.  I bet these snowflakes are still outraged over Janet Jackson's boob yet voted for a porn star FLOTUS.  Never go full Kyle's mom.  Violence good but this...THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

“My family and I are devastated by the tragedy that took place at The Covenant School in Nashville this morning. We are sending our thoughts and prayers to the families of those lost. As a father of three, I am utterly heartbroken by this senseless act of of violence.”

Andy just might send his favorite family Christmas Card to the families of the victims this year:

Looks like one member of the family isn't obsessed yet. There's really no connection between the shooting and this card except the people but it's rather tone deaf for him to express his sentiments and have this in the world for all to see. The media and anti-gun people will use this as part of their argument but as with most politicians he won't care.

Slapper Will Smith once turned down a role in Django Unchained because he "couldn't connect to violence being the answer" in the storyline.

Oh--- the irony!!

Someone should write a book or a screenplay called Slapper Will.  That would be fun.

Is it time to eradicate AI?

‘I’ve got your daughter’: Scottsdale mom warns of close call with AI voice cloning scam (By Susan Campbell Apr. 10, 2023)

SCOTTSDALE, AZ:  The phone number that appeared on the screen was unfamiliar. Jennifer DeStefano almost let it go to voicemail, but her 15-year-old was out of town skiing. Maybe there had been an accident. “I pick up the phone, and I hear my daughter’s voice, and it says, ‘Mom!’ and she’s sobbing,” DeStefano recalled. “I said, ‘What happened?’ And she said, ‘Mom, I messed up,’ and she’s sobbing and crying.”

In a split second, DeStefano’s confusion turned to terror. “Then I hear a man’s voice say, ‘Put your head back. Lie down,’ and I’m like, ‘Wait, what is going on?’” DeStefano said. “This man gets on the phone, and he’s like, ‘Listen here. I’ve got your daughter. This is how it’s going to go down. You call the police, you call anybody, I’m going to pop her so full of drugs. I’m going to have my way with her, and I’m going to drop her off in Mexico.’ And at that moment, I just started shaking. In the background, she’s going, ‘Help me, Mom. Please help me. Help me,’ and bawling.”

There was no doubt in DeStefano’s mind. Her daughter was in trouble. “It was never a question of who is this? It was completely her voice. It was her inflection. It was the way she would have cried,” she said. “I never doubted for one second it was her. That’s the freaky part that really got me to my core.”

But the 15-year-old never said any of it. The voice on the phone was just a clone created by artificial intelligence. “You can no longer trust your ears,” said Subbarao Kambhampati, a computer science professor at Arizona State University specializing in AI. He says voice cloning technology is rapidly improving. “In the beginning, it would require a larger amount of samples. Now there are ways in which you can do this with just three seconds of your voice. Three seconds. And with the three seconds, it can come close to how exactly you sound,” Kambhampati said. “Most of the voice cloning actually captures the inflection as well as the emotion. The larger the sample, the better off you are in capturing those,” he said. “Obviously, if you spoke in your normal voice, I wouldn’t necessarily be able to clone how you might sound when you’re upset, but if I also had three seconds of your upset voice, then all bets are off.”

I don't think it's a stretch to assume that this will probably get worse.  The potential for massive scams and fraud via AI is huge.

Reading Lewis Carroll's biography.  He was a really weird fellow.

There's an interesting discussion about him at one of the subreddits.

Apparently, entire books have been written about his proclivities.

Well, I guess that ruined Alice in Wonderland for me.

Also, in my research related to the above, I learned about L Frank Baum's disturbing opinions.

There goes the Wizard of Oz.....

Star of the Bad Boys trilogy and Enemy of the State has opinions on R rated violence.  Spare me, Slappy, and I'm not talking about that squirrel on Animaniacs.

I'm reminded of why I finally deleted Twitter from my iPhone for alternatives like Spoutible.  Take out politics, and my faith in people there is worse than usual.  I saw someone say Jennifer Connelly (past and or present) and Rachel McAdams aren't that good looking on my computer browser.

ARE YOU BLIND YOU MORON!?  :banghead:. Have you not seen Career Opportunities and Wedding Crashers?  I bet he's into reality TV skanks and plastic bimbos...and is a fat guy behind the computer.  Maverick showed she's still got it.
