I'm totally tripping but I had to mention it.

I'm finally watching "Sully" on blu-ray tonight.

As I am watching the opening of the film I was fooled that it was a dream.

I apologize for any spoilers but if you haven't seen the movie by now then I'm sure it's not on your top priority list.

Anyway, As Tom Hanks portrayed as Sully wakes up from his dream, his face is casted in shadows and some light.

It instantly reminded me of the "Distant Early Warning" video with the light and shadow on Neil's face.

Now you may think that this is another lame ass thread but hold that thought!

If you are reading this then I don't want to disappoint you!

I am sure I wrote this on here before but hell I don't even know what Rush Tour this was on.

I want to think it was the Rush "Time Machine Tour."

So I broke my left foot and was put in a boot during the Rush Tour.

I actually broke my foot somehow in New Mexico with my young family at the time.

Yup no wonder I'm divorced.

I took the wife and kids to the opening Time Machine Tour in New Mexico.

Long story short.

The ex and I still flew back to Red Rocks for two shows

It was amazing.

Anyway, on our way back to Oakland CA the ex and I were on a Southwest flight.

All of the sudden some tall white haired hero comes on board and sits right in front of me on the plane!

Yep! It was Sully!!

He was so sweet and wonderful. He told me that he broke his foot once too and had to wear a boot. He said it was a pain in the butt!

But!

It was so cool.

Everyone on the plane was so nice and thanking him. Children would come up to Sully and he signed everything!

I tapped Sully on the shoulder and asked him to sign my boot.

Of course I was just kidding. He laughed.

Anyway, just another story for me to share.

I know it will never happen but if they ever make a dramatic movie based on Neil's life, Tom Hanks would do it.

It would be epic and sad and enlightening!

I'm going to contact Neil tomorrow and start writing the screenplay!

The name of my film will be "One Little Victory."

Bring it on bitches!!! LOL!

I'm watching the Sully documentary on the blu-ray and hey kids I don't make this stuff up.

The narrator just mentioned "before grace under pressure" as they showed a picture of a young Sully holding a toy plane.

Crazy.

I've seen, and watched "Sully" before. It wasn't at the theatres, but on movie channels. I thought the movie wasn't bad. It might look there is a Neil Peart cameo, and resemblance in the movie. When I was watching it, I wasn't thinking, and looking out for if there were any Neil Peart, and Rush related references.
