Some tough decisions:

Dreamline

Bravado

Open Secrets

Second Nature

Prime Mover

Lock And Key

Mission

Turn The Page

Neurotica

High Water

7-3 in favor of HYF. Not surprising.

Actually it is, considering that by many market metrics, RTB is one of their most successful albums. Four charting singles, as I recall.

Force Ten > Dreamline

Time Stand Still < Bravado

Open Secrets >Roll The Bones

Second Nature > Face Up

Prime Mover < Where's My Thing? (Part IV, "Gangster Of Boats" Trilogy)

Lock And Key > The Big Wheel

Mission > Heresy

Turn The Page < Ghost Of A Chance

Tai Shan < Neurotica

High Water > You Bet Your Life

Only 6-4. A surprise.

good to know Im not the only guy who likes Heresy.

I like it, as it pretty well captures the post-USSR sentiment of uts time. Ged's vocals are great, like they are throughout the album. It's preachy, but if we use that as a metric, a whole lotta Rush goes out the window.

HYF wins 6 to 4, but honestly the last 2 song matchups feature 4 of my least favorite Rush songs.

Second Nature > Face Up

Prime Mover < Where's My Thing?

Lock and Key < The Big Wheel

Turn the Page < Ghost of a Chance

Tai Shan < Neurotica

High Water < You Bet your Life

7-2 for RTB, which shouldn’t surprise anyone except the 1980’s synthophants who populate TRF. RTB was the first album in a decade not to sell less than its immediate predecessor, still has 3 songs regularly played on classic rock radio (compared to HYF’s 0 songs), and finally saw the proper reintroduction of the guitar in Rush’s music.

As much as I love Time Stand Still, Bravado is my favourite song of any of the albums post-GUP
