Red3angel
So I’ve been listening to caress of steel in my car continuously for a week and I love it. Does that make me not a real rush fan?

Fordgalaxy
If you can listen to that for a week solid, you're as much of a Rush fan as a human bean can be. The real test, can you listen to Hold Your Fire for a week?

lifeson90
COS THAT good it fits into a handful for me that could possibly be the band's best, like Rush doing classical, the one album of this band's i listen to purely to relax - with seriously intense moments dotted all around it the closest the guys got to a an early Genesis type work, a real masterpiece. Recall in my student days getting back to my student digs one night and a few kids had discovered my cassette of COS and were being blown away by The Necromancer, every one of em subesquently becoming Rush heads. One of my proudest moments :)

Rick N. Backer
No, but if you find yourself saying, "Caress of Steel is their best album, Moving Pictures is too 'commercial,'" I'd see a doctor.

Wouldn’t be the first or even second time I’ve heard that on TRF
