CrimsonE
This was posted last night to Youtube, and suffice it say the guys love the song, particularly the groove. I'd be very interested to see what they think of the synth era of the mid-late 80's, let alone since then. Tombstone Mountain
I've not seen such a reaction from ANY songs they've reviewed. Dude was sliding down in his chair listening to Alex shred."These dudes seem to cool to me. My mom listens to Rush."

Tombstone Mountain
"That's gonna be my theme music. When I walk in the room, that shit's gonna be playing"--Ryan Never seen them replay any portion of a song just to groove to it again. Awesome!!!
theredtamasrule
Yeah man that was a great vid. They should watch it live to really see Alex go ape shit on that solo.

I'd like to see their reaction to Neil's drumming on the live versions.
rocket ignites
playlist! 2 for 2. The music is so familiar to me that other people's discovery shows how spoiled/jaded I am. It's like rediscovering the greatness along side their reaction...if that makes sense.

It's like rediscovering the greatness along side their reaction...if that makes sense. That makes perfect sense. I've long ago dismissed the first album, due to personal taste/bias... but listening to that solo along with them - hell yes.

I've long ago dismissed the first album, due to personal taste/bias... but listening to that solo along with them - hell yes. Yes it makes perfect sense. It’s a lot of fun to watch people enjoy something I love so much and reminds me of the first time I listened to these songs and makes me readjust my bias for/against certain songs.

It's so cool to see them get turned on about the same stuff that I would get turned on about when discovering a new song for the first time.

stoopid
I think they would enjoy Subdivisions for the message and solid/dark groove. IMO that's an example of Rush's ability to take very heady topics and have you tap your foot/air drum/air guitar to it. I'm a bit miffed their first reaction for a Rush song with lyrics would be Working Man, probably the most mundane of Rush's known tracks.
