Obviously heavily influenced by the Beatles with more power, but they found a niche and did it well. Nothing pretentious, just good straightforward power pop. A couple of months ago I browsed some recent live videos and Pat had gotten big as a house. Not sure what the health details were but it appears he wasn't in a physically healthy place. RIP. This is awful news I didn't know Pat lived in Scotch Plains, which is about 10 minutes from my shop .. Thank you Pat for the music and giving us something to be proud of ...
