It looks like Louis CK is the latest to face a possible abrupt end to his career. The release of his new film, "I Love You, Daddy" has been shut down due to a pending New York Times exposé on him. A very scathing exposé.

Oh come on man.

He's always seemed like one of the good guys. Of course working late night at comedy clubs and having a few too many can lead to the things he's being accused of. Timing is suspicious since admitting you experienced sexual misconduct from a celebrity is the hot topic and in thing to do recently.

That's exactly what I thought when I read that. Where have they been all these years?

If all he did was beat the bishop, that's not illegal, right?

Whether or not it's illegal depends on where you do it.

That is true. One incident was in his hotel room. Another was in his office.

Office building owners could always press charges for "lewd and lascivious conduct" or whatever. Hotels would probably decline.

Huh? His act has gotten more and more full of crass beating off and jizz jokes, and less of his smarter side. I'm not one bit surprised. The masturbatory exhibitionism allegations aren't new, but here's the latest.

In 2002, a Chicago comedy duo, Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov, landed their big break: a chance to perform at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colo. When Louis C.K. invited them to hang out in his hotel room for a nightcap after their late-night show, they did not think twice. ckets and hats, Louis C.K. asked if he could take out his penis, the women said.

They thought it was a joke and laughed it off. “And then he really did it,” Ms. Goodman said in an interview with The New York Times. “He proceeded to take all of his clothes off, and get completely naked, and started masturbating.”

A late night night cap room invite would have set off an alarm for me but I'm not most people...

The accusations have been out for a while, at least since August. Here's a September article...

,,,and a May article citing harrassment accusations from 2015, around the 2012 Aspen incident...

Interesting that the POTUS gets away with bragging about sexual assault and walking backstage at his pageant and seeing nearly naked teenagers but celebrities get shitcanned based on years old events that someone says happened without an investigation.

Uh-huh. There are plenty of ex-Presidents with worse track records. And you can't tell the current POTUS doesn't get "shitcanned". I'm just saying let's be fair about all this.

You asked.

Terry Crews is a buff 240 lb. Hollywood actor who was intimidated to come forward with his story about sexual assault. How do you think lesser known women feel?

And we know better than to assume anything from how a person we don't even know seems.

Why have so many Presidents gotten away with debauchery, adultery, fornication, etc.? Because they can. It's an irritating truth of our society.

Powerful people in the entertainment industry have been getting away with it for decades. Recent events may be changing that power dynamic. Public shame still works for the majority of people in this country. Now that we're fully in the 24/7 Instant Information Age, and now that people are bringing such debauchery into the light, people in power may not be so eager to try it. Maybe.....
