treeduck
I don't rate him but if I had to say one I'd say Se7en, and that film really belonged to Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey.

Segue Myles
I really love Legends Of The Fall. Also, Fury is great. He isn't a great actor but he can do a good performance if the material is strong and the director is sharp.

Rick N. Backer
No contest. Se7en is probably one of my 5 favorite movies of all time. Pitt is phenomenal in it. Second place goes to A River Runs Through It.
JohnnyBlaze
"What's in the baaaaaaaaaaooooooox!?" I can't tell if you're joking or not....because to me that scene to me is laughable. Spacey and the mood/tone make that movie.

But, right before that, Pitt has a great scene as they're driving up to the delivery point. "John, that hurts my feelings." "Do people that are crazy know they're crazy?"
Rick N. Backer
And, actually, the part where he wrestles with shooting Spacey is a good piece of acting. Especially the point where you can practically see that he's thinking, "You know what? F*ck him."

treeduck
Snatch...Snatch? He plays some kind of druken Irish gypsy brawler with an accent that keeps slipping between Irish, Welsh, English and Bombay Indian. What an amazing performance.
blueschica
A River Runs Through It is my favourite. I like two of the above mentioned, though, Fury and Burn After Reading.

He plays some kind of druken Irish gypsy brawler with an accent that keeps slipping between Irish, Welsh, English and Bombay Indian. What an amazing performance. Snatch is an okay movie with some fun parts but not because of Pitt. He just happens to be in there. Tbh, that gypsy accent he puts on is as poor as the "What's in the booooox?! Oh god no no no god no nooo..." Se7en scene. The fun parts in Snatch are because of Brick Top, the Sol/Vinny/Tyrone trio, and Dennis Farina as Avi.

goose
At least eight solid films, off the top of my head: Fight Club, Burn After Reading, Inglorious Basterds, 12 Monkeys, Se7en, A River Runs Through It, Legends of the Fall, Moneyball. Moneyball is probably my favorite and his strongest performance.
