Tough one - I remember tracks from this one being "previewed" on WPYX106 a month or so before the album release. First Rush album I bought the day it was released!

It was tough to pick three "weak songs", so I threw darts. Not only do I like DEW better that any song on this album, but it's one of my favorites overall. Maybe because it's the song that turned me on to the band.

And it's not that I don't like these three...I do. I love the whole album. Love the sound. But if I've got to pick the weaker ones, then those are them.

The tour (Roll the Bones, maybe?) where they lead the drum solo into the end of "Red Lenses" saves that song for me. I think about it every time I hear it.

I like all of them though.

I did not like the album when it was first released for a long time. It was only after I saw the tour when it was released that I accepted it.

 

I found the album, its songs, music and lyrics very depressing and gloom-ridden. Nothing cheerful at all on this album. I can barely listen to it at times. I definitely thought Rush were going to break up after this album was released.
