The Allman Brothers Band- At Fillmore East

The Who- Live at Leeds

Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers- A Night at Birdland, Vol. 1

Ask me next week, and one or two of those three will probably be different. Only having three choices really, really limits things.

...

only 3?

Sorry, nuh-uh, can't do it.

That's what I should have said too, maybe.

Or maybe I'll post three at a time, about ten different times.

Who would stop me?? :P

Bob Seger - Live Bullet

Rush - A Show of Hands

Yes - Keys to Ascension

edit to add... just listenning to A Show of Hands again, and I'm surprised that more Rush fans don't consider this one of their best. I know that 80s era setlists probably aren't going to be the community's favorite, but their muscianship was so on point for this one. Rhythm Method is easily my favorite of Peart's drum solos, and that big 80s digital reverb mix just WORKS.

I frickin' LOVE this album. Not just one of my favorite live albums, one of my favorite albums.

The Who – Live At Leeds

Eric Clapton & Steve Winwood – Live From Madison Square Gardens

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young – Four Way Street

On a different day, I may have switched any of these with Fleetwood Mac – Live at The Boston Tea Party Vol. 1, Strawbs – A Colliection of Antiques & Curios, or Rush – ATWAS.

I'm going with 3 where I prefer their songs to their studio counterparts:

The Kinks - One For the Road

Peter Frampton - Frampton Comes Alive

Cheap Trick - Live at Budokan

In 6 months the list will change.

One for the Road - nice!
