ytserush
This is the most hq one i've seen so farhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mjm10iXTon4 Hate to be a Negative Nancy but I have to say it and be honest....his playing is great as always but Geddy's bass is ugly as hell with those colors I wish he stuck to playing just black or red or even white guitars instead of the "every color of the rainbow sometimes all at once" kick he's been on since CA Some of us love that green bass! :P I don't care about the color of the bass, just the sound it makes when he plucks the strings Difficult to judge that from a bunch of you tube videos. I'll reserve judgement until I see something more professionally recorded.
ytserush
Rick Wakeman's speech was the greatest. Can't remember the last time I laughed so hard. He's been doing that for years. Pretty sure I've heard the stripclub joke a few times now.

From your video, it seems like you had a good view of Geddy from where you were sitting; that's awesome. I was really high up, only like 5 rows from the top! But pretty much side stage, so I was pretty close, I guess! Not cheap but totally worth it. I'm looking forward to the show when it airs, because while I could totally hear Geddy on Roundabout, it was hard to pick Alex out in the final jam, and my view of the video screen wasn't that great, so on tv it should be easier.

Seeing this professionally mixed will be nice. Tough to get an idea of how it sounded as enjoyable as it was. Picking up a lot of cool stuff watching Roundabout and Rockin In The Free World repeatedly. Even the heartfelt comments of Geddy and Alex were really cool too.
troutman
Finally got around to listening to one of the clips with headphones. Geddy's tone was awesome!! He must of had goosebumps the whole time playing with the other guys. :codger: :geddy: :geddy: :geddy:
blueschica
This is the most hq one i've seen so farhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mjm10iXTon4 Thanks again, Union! I have really enjoyed watching this today. It's such a pleasure to see Ged rocking out on stage with a bass again. I started laughing near the beginning (1:44) when Rick Wakeman comes in on the keys and Geddy and Jon Anderson start playing air keyboard. Seeing Steve Howe play up close is wonderful. vaportrailer
This is the most hq one i've seen so far Thanks Union! The thing that really struck me about this video, was not only how relaxed Geddy looked playing with some of his heroes, but what a generous stage presence he has. He isn't attracting undue attention to himself, and is regularly 'checking in' with the others that he's playing with (making eye contact, sharing a little smile, whatever). It's nice to see he and Rabin enjoying themselves. Steve Howe does not exude a generous stage presence. I'm sure he exudes other things... I didn't even recognize Alan White. Maybe Tony Kaye should've played drums! :PFunny (and cool) that Bruford dragged himself across the pond to be there. Would rather have seen him on drums, but you know how these retired drummers can be. Well done Geddy! He made it look easier and more fun than it probably was.
