Great to see Geddy, Alex and Neil Young sharing one stage.

It would've been. Neil pulled out sick though :(

Haha, I noticed that a few minutes later, but due to my excitement, I forgot to edit my post.

OK, this isn't about the Periscope feed, but the HBO version of the RRHOF ceremony was on tonight. If you know anyone with HBO or HBOgo, it's worth taking a look at to see Geddy play Roundabout with Yes! They will rerun it a bunch in the next few weeks if it's anything like other years. I know, we all already saw it on Youtube, but all I can say is that whoever edited the HBO footage is a Geddy Lee fan! I swear there are more closeups of Geddy playing bass than anyone except Jon Anderson singing. Steve Howe and Trevor Rabin get shown only a few measly times. Ged and the seagreen bass really do get a great deal of camera time. If you watch, the Yes speech by Al and Ged, etc. start almost exactly one hour into the program and Roundabout a little after that.

I watched the ceremony last night, and it was great to see Ged and Al... they both look great.

For me though, the musical highlight of the night was Lenny Kravitz's arrangement of "When Doves Cry"... It was epic and totally blew me away.

Some of the speeches were edited for final broadcast apparently!

Mr. blues and I noticed that too! Didn't watch the whole thing but they did edit some of Rick Wakeman's remarks and I think they took out a few of Geddy's lines inducting Yes; those edit happy HBO weenies! (he talked about seeing Yes at Massey Hall but I didn't hear his joke about sending out Alex all night for "honeydew drinks". It's true, when Rush is on TV I have no life . . ) Actually not true, went down to Washington DC for the whole day, came back and it was still on!

Roundabout - HBO clip:

Unbelievable. When Roundabout came out, I wonder if Geddy, in his wildest dreams, ever thought he would one day be up on stage playing bass with Yes performing the song at Yes' RRHOF induction.

Yes sounds and looks fabulous. Jon's voice is still magnificent. Even after all of the many decades.

There was a moment he looked like he wanted behind the keyboards too. He snuck in some vocals.

I noticed him sneaking in the final harmony. Couldn't hear him though.

That was an incredible video. Chris Squire would be happy having Geddy taking his place. :) I think.

Oooh, thank you for putting this up, Marielle! I could watch it over and over!

I actually did watch those two good crowd shot videos of both Roundabout and Rockin' In The Free World over and over. Probably watched Rockin' In The Free more though because I've always wanted to see Geddy and Alex play that even though Geddy was only on for half of it and Alex really didn't want to show off much.

The sound seemed a little better on the crowd shot ones, too, I think. It really was so nice to see both of them back on a stage again. :) :)

He has such a strange voice. You'd think he'd lose it, but he sounds as good as he ever did. Amazing.

I love Yes. It's a disgrace it took them almost fifty years to get into a HOF they should have been inducted into thirty years ago.

Wish I had been here for the periscope party.
