Favourite - Marathon. I absolutely love the instrumental section. It gives me chills.

 

Least Favourite - This was difficult. I went with Prime Mover, even though it's not actually my least favourite on the list. But given that it was the only song that I had to do a youtube search for to remind me what it was, I figured I'd better pick it

My least favourite is probably actually Presto, but I do at least remember how that one goes.

Ah, the wrestlemania 2 battle royal. Good childhood memories of that show since it was the first wrestling pay per view I watched live.

 

As for the poll, I do love all these songs. Marathon gets my vote for the winner and Mystic Rhythms gets thrown out first.

Don't know about the second pic but I'm pretty sure the top pic wasn't wrestlemania 2. I think it was one of those Saturday Nite Main Event episodes. It was leading into Wrestlemania 3 though (which was to have Andre vs Hogan). If this is the Battle Royale that I'm thinking of, it was '87 and Andre headbutted Hogan out early. Andre himself was dumped relatively early but it took half a dozen or so other wrestlers to toss him over.

 

The eventual winner was Hercules Hernandez.

The second battle royal picture is from wrestlemania 2. Didn't know for sure where that first one was from. Everything you said about that battle royal I remember happening. Why did Saturday Night's Main Event have to be on so late? I was only a kid and had a hard time staying up to watch it.

I was a freshman in high school when this particular Battle Royale happened. That's how I was pretty sure it was '87.

Much as I enjoy Marathon, I had to go with Vital Signs just for the scrappy bass tone.

Yeah, I know there are a few TRFers like that. And that's fine. But knowing that is the reason why I specifically didn't choose Red Barchetta, Limelight, or Subdivisions...I knew that the strictly old school Rush fans would've picked one of those titans.

 

As I made the poll, I like ALL of these tunes. I haven't even voted yet because it's hard to pick one that I'd toss. Picking the champ isn't as tough but it still isn't easy. I do know that Prime Mover is NOT my least favorite track of this bunch.
