You know what I'm talking about with the Kitty Pryde thing though. ((Oh, and the Woody Allen comment was a common write-in back then))I remember getting that issue back in the day and being SHOCKED that Spidey was getting his ass kicked by a mere woman. And a woman who didn't even have super powers! This may have been the first year I read Marvel comics around 1971 or something...He had a major virus at the time. He was so dazed he even walked into his own party holding his Spider-Man mask, and later had to do some major back-peddling with Gwen, MJ, Harry and Capt. StacyHe had a similar situation one time when he fought the Vulture with one bad arm. He took a beating but managed to still pull through in the end.
