  3. I'll post my newest top 5 plus 1 underrated and 1 special mention after I watch the last two films in my Hitchcock run. So in other words in a few hours.
  4. If The Beatles (White Album), had been it a single album (so a roughly 45 minute album with 15 songs) which 15 songs out of the 30 would you choose to be on this hypothetical single album version? Here's my choices: Back in the U.S.S.R. Dear Prudence Glass Onion Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da While My Guitar Gently Weeps Happiness Is a Warm Gun Blackbird Piggies Why Don't We Do it in the Road? Birthday Yer Blues Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey Helter Skelter Long, Long, Long Savoy Truffle
  5. An interesting match-up of contemporaries born less than two years apart.
  6. I've heard the four new songs from the album and I haven't really liked any of them so far.
  7. Ok here we are, could this be the poll to end all polls?? Oh wait a second it's not a poll at all! Silly me! :codger:
  8. I say, YES they are, they f***ing suck. They're like a boring, unfunny version of The Rutles, but their songs aren't as good. Cheese and Onion is leagues better than anything Oasis ever did.
  9. ...your top 20 bands of all time, not 10 or 50, just 20. Any genre you like even if your #5 is Debbie Gibson and your #7 Milli Vanilli, let's see

  11. So I was going through my Ronnie James Dio collection of Rainbow, Sabbath and Dio albums getting ready for my later on in my continuing listening series THE SCHEDULE ™ ® ℠, and I got to thinking about DIO and the whole devil's horns gesture. Then I thought, I've seen that somewhere recently, now where was it? So I was thinking where've I seen it? It can't be on those albums I just listened to from 1969...? So I checked, and YES here it is!
  12. Happy Birthday Fridge! And your birthday present is this, the first Scotsman to unify in the four belt era of boxing (the other belt is the Ring Magazine belt).
  13. Do you love all the obscure Beatles tunes, or do you prefer all the hits? Or somewhere in between? Or whatever it may be...? I'll have to work on this one myself for a bit.
  14. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame reveals its 2021 Inductees, celebrating the most diverse list of Inductees in the history of the organization. They are: Performer Category: Tina Turner Carole King The Go-Go’s JAY-Z Foo Fighters Todd Rundgren Early Influence Award: Kraftwerk Charley Patton Gil Scott-Heron Musical Excellence Award: LL Cool J Billy Preston Randy Rhoads Ahmet Ertegun Award: Clarence Avant
  15. If you had to be pigeonholed into being described, for the most part, as a fan of your favourite sub-genre of music, what would it be? I think I did this before but I included too many options. This time we'll keep it simple and concise, relatively speaking. So ae you mostly a hard rock fan? A prog rock fan? A pop fan? etc
  16. The song Natural Science from RUSH is placed in this random poll here. Vote for the song you like best.
  17. New album out in February: Tracklist 01. Rock 'N' Roll 02. Go Man Go (Album Version) 03. Our Love Will Change The World 04. Social Debris 05. $1000 High Heel Shoes 06. Hail Mary 07. Shut Up And Rock 15. East Side Story (Album Version)
