  1. Surely even Macca pales in comparison to one of the greatest Rush albums ever made! But perhaps that third question can get some votes for the world's richest rock star. I hear he really needs them! :P
  2. There is unrest in the forest; I hope you'll be okay.
  3. Ah yes! A prog dream! Tell me, which brand of whimsy do you prefer? Genesis' more intense, storybookish, sci-fi, classically inspired kind, or Supertramp's less bookish, jazzier, spiritual-psychological kind?
  4. Hm, plenty of people can't stand Journey and plenty of people can't stand Bryan Adams, and this is not the best album from either of them, though they both fall within their classic periods. Who do you prefer?
  5. For those uninitiated into one of my favorite modern bands: http://youtu.be/DHmXhg6MpuY
  6. More Elton and more Muse! You know my votes, but how will you respond? Is one of Muse's best albums better than possibly Elton's most underrated??
  7. Axis is a mid-late 70s hard rock power trio that favors Page and Schenker over Van Halen in the guitar department. Energetic, decently catchy, probably could've transitioned over to AOR with a good synth player by their side; their singer had a pretty great voice. I'm gonna take their pretty sick record here over one of Dylan's more formative works (though that line "I'm a poet, and I know it, I hope I don't blow it" makes me laugh). But Dylan of course is the greater artist overall.
  8. I have good memories of Kintisugi but that doesn't save it from being one of my lesser favorite Death Cab albums. On the other hand, I have good memories of Captured, and those memories are a big part of the reason why I love it more than many Journey studio albums (the main memory here is it being one of the first records I ever sat on a turntable and listened to at a friend's house). As for bands.... I like Death Cab a lot, but I probably like Journey a handful more.
  9. So I cheated a little. I was going to make an RPG a few days ago, but both of the albums were pretty much D or C tier bands and not notable releases and I decided I didn't really care, so I scrapped it. Anyway here's another chance for everyone to argue exactly how overrated U2 are and how underrated the Bee Gees were.
  10. Classic prog band at their least accessible vs. less critically acclaimed prog band with their most iconic hit!
  11. Well I know which way I lean.... SHE LOOKED GOOD!
  12. Well I dig TEINACDP. It's great mood music, amazing how it can feel so profound and inspiring with just two guitars a bass and a drum set, no vocals! But come on, Aerosmith.
  13. I guess with a matchup like this you Steve Miller fans can keep hiding! :P I'll try to give Miller a chance in the third option.
