  1. Let's do a new list! List the albums that you think are the most fun to listen to, for whatever reason you may have! Maybe you always sing along to every song, or you can headband straight through the whole thing, or your air drumming has become next level thanks to all the hours you've spent practicing to this record. The choice is yours, but one album at a time, and no double posting. I'll start! 1. Green Day - Dookie If there's one genre seemingly dedicated to fun, it's probably pop, but pop-punk is more my speed, and Green Day provide the perfect soundtrack to having a great time with this classic! Not my all time favorite from them, but undeniably fun.
  2. I'm Starting with something mentioned elsewhere today...GOBOTS. appeared about the same time as Transformers....on the cartoon series scene. http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j223/OldRUSHfan/Me%20stuff/Gobotsfigurines-Pathfinderfolded.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j223/OldRUSHfan/Me%20stuff/Gobotsfigurines-Pathfinder.jpg Pathfinder folded and Opened. What I liked about this one was it looked kinda like a Cylon fighter when folded! http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j223/OldRUSHfan/Banana%20World/banana%20riding%20train.gif

  4. I'm going to make this a semi-permanent feature, if it's ok for everyone. And remember, it's for FUN! Not that I'm going to post a song everyday, either, even if the source material is vast and deep and unfathomable. Seeing that there are a lot of vintage Italian prog lovers here, I thought it might be fun to share "the dark side" of that particular moment in time. Bands and singers that, although influenced to a larger or lesser degree by "prog", kept one and a half foot firmly in pop territory. They couldn't play, they wouldn't, they didn't care, they wanted to make money. Your choice. But say what you want, they knew how to hold the stage and they could deliver. So be ready for a barrage of ridicoulous melodic honey, awful british rock covers, silly jackets and terrible hair. No other song is fit to be the first in thread like this, so here it goes. You might recognize this one.
  5. Hey Everyone. Exciting news to share. I am heading to Disney World today. This will be my 5th visit (4th that I will remember everything about), and I am stoked, mainly to go on Splash Mountain over and over again, but also for the new roller coaster, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, opening during my visit, and possibly meeting John Ratzenberger during the Star Wars Weekends. Has anyone else ever been? Favorite Rides? Funny Stories? etc... I am a huge amusement park fan so this is kind of a pilgrimage for me. Side note, I am leaving The Rush Forum...TEMPORARILY (see what I did there) as I am probably not going to bother posting from an ipod on the trip unless some big news happens. See everyone in June.
