I know the PC era Genesis takes a bit of a beating here, but curious to see what the PG era Genesis fans think are the proggiest PC Genesis tunes.

For me, in college it was Top Gun. Period. Watched it at least twice a month. We had Top Gun parties that started small and got huge. Everytime you hear Mav or Maverick, you took a drink. Fun stuff. Now it's the likes of Caddyshack and Airplane. Honorable mention to The Holy Grail

Coming into work today, Chicago's 25 or 6 to 4 was playing. Love the horns in that song. Which other songs do you love that have a strong horn presence? Some off the top of my head.... You Can Call Me Al - Paul Simon I Want a New Drug - Huey Lewis & The News Find a Way to My Heart - Phil Collins

Back in the early 90s, there was a beer that came in a can with edges. I remember the can was gold colored, and kinda looked like this, if you were looking from the top down.... http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/3/3c/Regular_polygon_18.svg/220px-Regular_polygon_18.svg.png I remember the commercials saying "The beer with edge" or something like that.... I couldn't find anything in google....

For me, my far and away favorite is Football for a number of reasons. Golf is also fun to watch, and I love the NCAA tourney (but hate the NBA)

Who is rushing out to get this one? http://reviews.cnet.com/ps4/ Looks like it will be backwards compatible, possible all the way back to PS1 games... interesting stuff.

Growing up, summertime would find us outside playing with friends until mom or dad called me in for bed. Something I almost never see anymore. Do kids still play these games? What games did you play, and which rules did you play by? Here are some I can remember: Kick the can: One person was it, and we put a soda can in the street. 'It' would count to 30 and the rest of us would hide. When 'it' found us, we would go to the jail location. If someone kicked the can without being caught, the person in jail the longest would be freed. When everyone is caught, whoever was in jail the longest would be the next 'it'. Freeze Tag: One person is 'it' and the game is played like traditional tag excepting person that is tagged stayed frozen. One person is picked (without 'it' knowing) to be that thawer. They can thaw any frozen player. Game continues until all players are frozen. Ghost in the Graveyard: One player is the Ghost, all others count at the base to let the Ghost hide. "one o'clock, two o'clock..." Up to "midnight". The players will look for the Ghost, an when the Ghost is found, the player thy finds him yells "Ghost in the graveyard!" and a chase ensues. If they get back to base before being caught by the ghost, the ghost hides alone. If they are caught, both people go to hide. This continues until all are caught. Statue Maker: Probably one of the lamest games we played... One person was the statue maker, one player is they buyer, the rest are the statues. The buyer goes out of sight and the statue maker spins the players and they players decide on which statue they are based on how they fall. Once all the statues are made, the buyer enters, 'activates' the statues and they perform. The buyer picks his favorite and then the statue chased the buyer. Not sure how it ended, but that's what I can remember.

Curious... I almost never iron anymore. I buy wrinkle free slacks and shirts for wearing to the office. I have a couple special occasion items that I will iron when needed... but my weekly clothes ironing has completely gone away and I love it.

Have you ever seen a family of four+ at the show?

Every year, we get a gift card to a local restaurant for coaching football. Last year, we got $25 cards to 4 different restaurants. This year, we got 1 card for $100 to any of the "Bartolotta" restaurants in the Milwaukee area. I have taken my wife to one or two of them, but this was our first trip to Bacchus. The price has kept us away, but the gift card swayed us. It's a beautiful restaurant a stone's throw from Lake Michigan, and I thought it would be nice to take my wife there for her birthday. We pull up, and a valet parks our car. We get seated immediately and we are offered a selection of 3 or 4 different waters (which amazingly was no extra charge!). We get our water and they come with a selection of breads for us to choose. My wife chose the dill-something and whole wheat. I chose rustic Italian and raisin walnut. Since this place is named Bacchus, I figured we needed to order at least one glass of wine. I got a glass of Merlot, and my wife a glass of Malbec. ($15 each) They have a "tasting menu" which are smaller plates - kinda like tapas. My wife and I ordered seafood ravioli to share as an appetizer and we get a plate of 3 roasted grape tomatoes topped with one ravioli each about the size of a quarter. My wife and I each had 1 and a half. It was delicious, but WAY too small for $12. Our salads follow, each $11. My wife had the spinach (spinach, poached egg, maple-glazed pork belly, mustard vinaigrette) and I had the poached pear (wine poached pear, arugula, Dunbarton blue cheese, Marcona almonds). For our meals, my wife got the Lamb Duo (roasted lamb loin and lamb meatballs, orzo salad, preserved lemon, feta cheese, herbed lamb jus), and I got the filet (Filet Mignon, Bourbon peppercorn cream, sauteed mushrooms, potato mousseline). $41 and $37. For dessert, my wife got the buttermilk chocolate brownie (whipped cream, toasted pecans, salted caramel sauce) and I got the spiced bread pudding (Vanilla creme Anglaise, pomegranate seeds). $10 each. They also threw in a sorbet tasting plate (Triple Berry, passion fruit, citrus) for my wife's birthday. All said and done, the food was amazing. One of the best tasting meals I ever had. I was very let down with the price and especially what you got for the price. All of the servings were extremely small, and our $100 gift cert only covered half the bill (after tip). I was actually embarrassed to see the total... Website added: http://bacchusmke.com/

We all know who the King(s) and Queen of TRF are - our wonderful admins... but who are the Prince and Princess? Now is the time to find out. One male and one female will be chosen by votes on April 22nd. Why April 22nd? This is the last day before Rush starts the second leg of their tour in Austin, TX on April 23rd. To throw your name into the ring - just post in this thread that you are in. To decide a winner, your fans will 'like' your entry post (I'm sure there will be some "bump" posts, any votes for those do not count - only votes for your first post.) You can vote for one person, you can vote for multiple people - just hit the like button. Winners may be entitled to a member name - assuming the admins will go for it :) *Any ties will result in a run off - there can be only 1! ** Feel free to post pictures of yourself to help sway the votes :P **

Anyone see this? Went to see a Led Zep tribute band last night... No Quarter in Milwaukee. They showed the movie and played the musical portions live. They did a hell of a job with the music, but I thought the movie portion was garbage.

It's back for a 3rd season on Spike. The first season was in 2003, and I found it extremely entertaining. For those that do not know about the show, they set up a fake reality show and lead a contestant (or in the case of season 2 - contestants) to believe they are competing on this reality show. Everything is scripted with actors, but one guy is real. Season 2 came just 1 year later and was not nearly as good, plus one of the contestants figured out the whole thing was fake. They brought her in on it once this happened and let the guy continue. First season was kind of like The Real World or Big Brother or something. Second season was a romance thing like The Bachelor and the 3rd season is called "The Full Bounty" - competing for a contract as a bounty hunter. This season they have an actress playing a deaf person which I find to be in bad taste.

One of the great comedies of today is going away. I haven't had that feeling of "I'm going to miss this show" in quite a long time. I loved Sopranos, but was ready fro it to end due to a couple crappy seasons thrown in to make it longer. Good bye 30 Rock! Other shows I have missed: Cheers Seinfeld E.R. Those are the only 3 I can think of off the top of my head. When Simpsons calls it quits, that will immediately make the list.... I pretty much grew up with them. Anyone else have shows they missed when they called it quits? I never liked MASH... didn't think it was funny, and it was before my time anyway but I'm sure a lot of people will put that on their list.

Do you do it? I hate it. I tell my kids that I will only bring in one to the office - ever. I don't want to be one of those people that brings something in 5 times a year. They get 1 office visit, that's it.... the rest is up to them to go door to door and earn themselves, or if it's a good enough cause, we just divert some funds we hold for charity to that event. So, this morning my daughter asks me to take this thing for her into the office to raise some money for a program their school is doing to help special needs children in SE Wisconsin. I bring it in, a few coworkers sign up, nice. I ask one guy, who not only brings stuff in all the time, but actually got on me to buy into the raffle at his kids school. His fundraisers were not to help others, they were to reduce the private tuition cost of his kid's parochial schooling. I bought a couple tickets, twice - for each of his kids. After I sent him a message, this is what I got back: "Without getting into a debate about this, there are fundraisers I find acceptable and those I do not. I choose which limited fundraisers I participate in very carefully" Basically said "it doesn't benefit me, so go f**k yourself" Real nice....

Anyone watch this show? My wife wanted to watch it, being in the medical industry, and I don't know quite what to make of it. I think it is a very interesting concept, but didn't get into it as much as I did with The Following or Elementary. I found it to be somewhat predictable, and really wonder how they can keep it going each week without becoming ridiculous.

Don't drive angry! http://www.pcs.org/assets/uploads/Groundhog%203.jpg BTW: Early spring predicted this year

Congrats on 6 years to one of those members that never seems to post enough, no matter how much they post. You always have something great to say... especially when agreeing with me

We watch a lot of Discovery Channel stuff, and this show looks very interesting. Apparently I missed this first run. http://www.discoveryworld.ca/showpage.aspx?sid=47067 Toronto is the second show. This show shows what is underneath everything you see that makes a city work....
