  1. Full disclosure, the first time I ran it the poll generator had this up against p/g, and I just didn't feel like throwing that completely and utterly obvious of a poll out there, so I went with the next option. Hope this is more fun. Sadly for this really awesome new Foos album, I've been a James Taylor fan since I was in my mother's womb, and his Greatest Hits is a core part of my early life's soundtrack. JT times three.
  2. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/dave-grohl-announces-solo-project-play-23-minute-song-and-mini-doc-705529/ In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel he kinda makes a big deal about how he recorded it and how the video features seven of him on camera at once each playing different instruments, but what he kinda fails to emphasize is the fact that he's composed a 23 minute continuous instrumental piece, which I believe he's never actually done before, and would be his longest track to date with any group iirc? I went ahead and preordered it on iTunes because it's dirt cheap. 2.98 for the track and the video, comes out this friday. I don't know quite what to expect other than it being heavy rock, but he mentioned he played piano on it, and I think a saw a xylophone in pictures...so this could get interesting.
  3. Geddy and Alex attended the Foo Fighters concert last night in Toronto. (No sign of Geddy's mom or Rod from Toronto in the photos, though!). Here is Geddy's Instagram post accompanying the photos he posted. Nice to see him with Alex again! geddyimagesA great big cheers to @foofighters and their super kind crew for an awesome show and much appreciated hospitality shown to myself and my bestie Alex last night in our hometown of Toronto. A truly great hang! Kudos to Taylor for that killer drum solo and for rockin' that Rush T shirt! #foofighters #sometimesgoodguysfinishfirst ! #RushFoos #Taylorrocks
  4. As much as I love Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters, Snakes and Arrows wins my vote IMO. Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace is probably one of the Foo Fighters' weakest albums.
