  1. Larry Sharpe is a libertarian pol. He ran for Governor of NY and the veep slot for the Libertarian ticket in 2020. He posted the following on Fakebook. I didn't join the live discussion because I was unfamiliar with the episode, even though I've probably seen it at least three times in my life if not more. I don't have every TOS moment cemented in my memory. I just finished watching the episode. Who is the alien, BLM, Trump, the bipartisan Swamp/Deep State, The Globalists? What say you?
  2. The wife and I want to live out our retirement ocean front on A1A. Where should we explore that possibility and why?
  3. Okay, so yeah Rush songs are a given for most of us here but what aboot the others? I'll go first... Piano Man by Billy Joel, I never change the channel.
  4. There is this little firecracker that renovates old homes in Detroit on HGTV. My wife and I will often sit down with a glass of wine to watch her latest renovation and antics with her crew. I often find my mind wanders and I'm undressing Nicole Curtis in my mind. I feel like I'm cheating on my spouse while she is in the room. Crazy, right?
  5. Male singers you thought were a broad when you heard them for the first time. Nick Gilder, for a long time I thought Hot Child in the City was sung by a chick. Young dudes Wayne Newton and Paul Sedaka. What aboot you?
  6. Keith Olbermann a vile, hateful blowhard is still alive at 62 years old, in NYC if memory serves.
  7. Geeks in lab coats determine the 21 most hated bands, because...science. Yes they made the list at #18, I'm fuming so mad I might punch Fauci in the lip. https://www.radio.com/y98/latest/the-most-hated-bands-according-to-science?fbclid=IwAR2A9o7kHdDFhjMUOMtIP4brSIvOpa02U498-PayA4cMSdrpgQZTLxaekM8
  8. Have you read or heard rumors of this show potentially being a disaster??? Let's discuss it. I remain cautiously optimistic. I want this new Trek to be really good.
  9. Star Wars is back baby! If you’re old school Star Wars wondering what the life of a Solo like smuggler might be or played Star Wars roll playing games this is up your alley. Enough of the clichés. The rich universe is displayed in a smaller, more intimate scale while still feeling vast. What is surviving in the post empire environment all about? Who is this Mandalorian? The episode started off fun if not predictable but ends with a hook that is a home run. Only complaint there is no preview for the next episode. WTF?
  10. Remember the tree and decorations come down next Wednesday, plan accordingly.
  11. Do you like cheesy stuff? Do you like to sing in the shower*? Enjoy the Best of Jim Steinman on Amazon Music. Sing along, stretch those pipes. Do anything for love. *I was not wet and nude while crafting this post but I will be soon.
  12. Lower Decks is no Rick and Morty. I’ll give it another episode. I’m too old to waste time on crappy cartoons*. *That’s my wife speaking.
  13. As seen from a friend on Fakebook. Should I cut this person out of my life? He did officiate my wedding.
  14. I am vaguely aware of Yes. Today for the first time I'm going to actually take a deep dive. I opened Amazon Music. I'll listen to The Yes Album, Fragile and Close to the Edge. Yours Is No Disgrace, sounds familiar.
  15. I won’t give away the surprise. https://www.loudersound.com/features/the-50-best-rock-albums-of-the-decade/5
  16. Turn up the volume! http://youtube.com/watch?v=7UQi5T6RIaQ&t=0h0m39s
  17. I’ve started a new blog about having coffee, breakfast, lunch and other daytime events in and around New York City. Thursday I’ll hit up Hell’s Kitchen. https://www.papershadestudio.com/prudencio
  18. Today my wife and I will celebrate Thanksgiving with my mother and father. I don’t recall ever celebrating the holiday with parents, I never imagined I would. I have plenty of personal work to do but also plenty to be thankful for.
  19. Cool, Patrick Stewart is really reprising his role as the 2nd best Starfleet captain ever! https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/patrick-stewart-reprise-star-trek-role-new-cbs-all-access-series-1132262
  20. Best thing about Labor Day Weekend: Not having people peddle that soupy casserole “Chicago Style” on me. You go...NEXT
  21. A true masterpiece was released 28 years ago today. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Presto_(album)
