I saw them at the Gibson last year. Awesome venue- small, indoors, with the amphitheater set-up which definitely appeals to me. Bummer that they're closing it. . .

I posted this in the AC pre-show meetup thread but does anyone have the scoop on parking? I'm panicking because I need to get from MA to NJ by showtime (a 5-hour drive, at the very least) on the 11th and I'll need to put my car somewhere before I run to the arena. Any help?

I was in Austin and it was actually hilarious to see all the "BLAH"s. Both Alex and Geddy appreciated the sea of "BLAH" signs. The novelty may wear off, but for opening night it was perfect.

He was in Fanyboys too. Major Rush references throughout the film!
And sorry, but Rush's concert videos this year were absolutely horrible compared to the TMT. Hopefully they didnt have to pay Baruchel for the skits.
I must say the TMT were wayyyyy funnier but these have their moments. The shorter skits make room for more tunes too ya know ;)

so reading forums and again you keep popping up on my searches... a few friends keep telling me to go and see LotusLand, and i know they are coming around my area, so i may do it when they come around again, I live in RI
on border to MA... I lived next door to Chris (Geddy) for several years. He is an excellent musician. I haven't seen the band, but I've heard him play. He is a phenomenal guitarist.
I've heard their show is very good.
I think they made MANY fans a few Saturdays ago!

I did run into Geddy once in a shopping mall (Eaton Centre) in Toronto, back in 1982. I didn't say a word - I stood there with a startled look on my face, like I suddenly realized it wasn't "just a fart" - that I really sh** my pants.

Honestly, I'm very fortunate to have met the guys when I was 22 and 23, respectively. They're very sweet. Also, it's all about who ya know. Just sayin'
