  1. Most of my picks have already been listed - BUT to the person that mentioned Different Strings - didn't Geddy write that one?
  2. QUOTE (Tarkus406 @ Feb 2 2011, 07:32 PM) QUOTE (jesse2112 @ Feb 2 2011, 05:07 PM) This isn't that bad and to reiterate the setlist is pretty good You get... Time Stand Still-not played since the Counterparts Tour Presto-never played live Stick It Out-not played live since Test For Echo Tour Leave That Thing Alone- last played on VP tour The Camera Eye! And many others Dont you mean 'all last played on the Time Machine Tour?' this is still the time machine tour.
  3. favorite: camera eye, marathon least favorite: faithless, 2112 overture/temple (just heard it too many times now, and Geddy can hardly sing it now, even downtuned)
  4. I LOVE that setlist! (except for red lenses!)
  5. It's just a list of the 30 songs that he hasn' t listed yet, we could have figured that out ourselves if we had the time
  6. Putting "The Larger Bowl" and "Workin' Them Angels" so high are the only 2 really head-scratching moments for me so far. Angels is decent but I'd probably put The Larger Bowl in like... my bottom 10. But great list and I'm looking forward to the rest of it, especially because you're going into such detail. I would never have the time or patience to do this!
  7. QUOTE (Snow-Dog2112 @ Jan 5 2011, 01:38 PM) ive got everything from rush to a show of hands (including archives) i got most of them from half priced books (not all at once) and a couple from the exclusive company still searching for presto i would buy it online but they're like 20 bucks a piece plus shipping all of my rush albums are framed on my wall I got my copy of Presto for $1 at a flea market about a year ago... in pretty nice shape too. So they are out there if you keep looking!
  8. I don't know about pressing info, but I have everything from s/t through Presto, except for A Show of Hands. Hemispheres is the picture disc version, and I have it framed on my wall. The rest are "normal" versions.
  9. QUOTE (D3strukt @ Dec 18 2010, 07:58 PM) Actually, Xanadu goes into Hemispheres. Sounds like the Counterparts tour then (I mean I guess they could have rehearsed it that way this past spring, but that is also how they did it in '94)
  10. total set time is almost exactly 2 1/2 hours, plus roughly a half hour break in the middle
  11. No! Show Don't Tell, The Pass, or Presto, everything else from this album can take a hike.
  12. Also I hope I actually have the money to go, considering they are starting the ticket sales at the hight of the christmas shopping season!!!! Maybe the JUne Dates will go on sale in Jan/Feb or something.
  13. Looks like I'll be hitting Hershey or MSG (unless the June dates include something in Philly or Atlantic City...)
  14. Yeah every time somebody says they should play Hemispheres again I try and show them that clip. If that was 16 years ago, imagine how it would sound today? even downtuned!
  15. he is wrong, because the next tour will be promoting clockwork angels, not moving pictures. They will not keep the 2nd set the same because they will be focusing on a new album, not a 30 year old one.
  16. QUOTE (D3strukt @ Oct 6 2010, 01:05 PM) Then what's the point of bringing it? A waste of space. I think they were working on songs in the rehearsals that used the electronic kit, and they didn't make the final cut. Probably more work to rearrange the drum setup, so they just kept it the way it was.
  17. QUOTE (Your_Lion @ Oct 6 2010, 05:37 AM) My user-name comes from a friend mishearing the line from The Weapon...I thought it was funny, so I nicked it haha, sorry, I did not see this post, before I quoted the same line from The Weapon
  18. that's what most of their lyrics sound like to me!!!
  19. "He's a little bit afraid of dying, but he's a lot more afraid of your lion." What kind of person has a pet lion?
  20. QUOTE (g under p @ Sep 27 2010, 08:59 PM) They seem to like the show but only 11,500. I thought they were playing bigger outdoor ampitheaters. Peace 11,500 is in line with the crowd amounts Neil talks about in Roadshow (which was 2 tours ago but they're playing a lot of the same venues.) That's a lot of people!
  21. I have a 3/4 sleeve red & black shirt, and a dark grey/black work shirt, both from the Vapor Trails tour. Also an original Signals tour 3/4 shirt. .... and none of them fit me! The Vapor Trails ones are Large, and the Signals one is a Small - and it's a small from almost 30 years ago, so it's reallllllllllllly small.
  22. Thats nothing. He tossed a stick into the air at the beginning of the first Red Rocks show, and it came down and he caught it just as they finished the encore from the 2nd night's show.
  23. He could keep 4 or 5 helium baloons on strings somewhere on his side of the stage.
  24. Finding My Way Anthem Necromancer Something for Nothing AFTK Hemispheres Natural Science Camera Eye The Weapon Between The Wheels (favorite on the album and I missed the last 2 tours) Middletown Dreams Open Secrets Show Don't Tell Bravado Cold Fire Time and Motion Freeze We Hold On Dunno yet!
  25. I'm not a singer but from what I can tell, while his range has diminished and he can't hit the high notes so much these days, he's much more consistent at hitting the notes that are still in his range, than he was in the past.
