  1. QUOTE (usb_connector @ May 12 2011, 11:48 AM) I really hope they have a DVD/CD or Blu-Ray/CD combo. I want the video and a copy of the audio on my MP3! Word!
  2. I know A LOT of hardcore Rush fans that traveled from all over the country to be at the Cleveland show. Does that still make it fake or staged because the energy level was higher for a dvd filming? Not In My Opinion it doesn't.
  3. Yeah I agree. I mean since Neil's ear infection ordeal he has only worn In Ear Monitors once and that was for the Cleveland DVD Filming.
  4. I would like them to leave the "Presto Incident" in the dvd as well.
  5. I actually remember those guys trying to pull that little stunt. I'm glad you didn't have to smash them!
  6. No, but I did see the 4 of you about wet your pants when you got to your front row seats!
  7. Good Stuff! We must've been sitting fairly close to each other. I was in Row 2 Seat 26. Here are a couple videos I took of the show if you're interested.
  8. In my opinion just because mistakes are made during a show doesn't mean the show is ruined for me. I've never been part of a crowd that was so amped up before, during and after a Rush show. I was fortunate enough to attend Toledo, Cleveland and Auburn Hills and honestly they may have played better in Auburn Hills, but the overall experience and show in Cleveland was much better. Just my 2 cents worth....
  9. *PRESTO IN CLEVELAND* I found this on Youtube....After watching it over and over and then listening to the studio version it appears Neil is the one who screwed up. Alex's solo starts and ends where it is supposed to and Alex and Geddy both get back to their mics in time, but Neil is definitely off. Bridge starts at the 3:43 mark
  10. Another FYI...Neil was back to wearing the headphones in Auburn Hills Last Night. The boys seemed REALLY relaxed and seemed to be having a blast. Maybe the DVD Recording being over is a big weight lifted off.
  11. FYI.....Neil did wear in ear monitors tonight for the Cleveland show!
  12. I just referred someone to check out this post. Hope he gets ahold of ya
  13. I have 1 ticket for sale. It's a hard ticket and I have it in hand. Section 124, Row 5 email me at rains.drummer@gmail.com if interested!
  14. Drum solo is much better on this 2nd leg of the tour! Nice to hear it revamped before the filming in Cleveland. I also thought the crowd was a little lame. When I saw Rush in Columbus the crowd was nuts! I am hoping Cleveland and Auburn Hills will be the same as Columbus was.
  15. QUOTE (liddybuck01 @ Apr 12 2011, 08:24 AM) Thats the row ill be in. What number seats are yours? We have 45&46. I'm pretty sure it's seat 26
  16. For the Toledo show I was able to get my best seat ever for a Rush concert. I'm center stage in section CR, Row 2 which is 2nd row from the stage. The CR sections are the 1st 3 rows in front of the stage before the F1, F2 & F3 sections. I've never had luck in a presale before, but the presale for this show restored my faith in presales!
  17. QUOTE (RodrigoAltaf @ Apr 6 2011, 02:17 PM) Didn't he use them also on the GuP tour when they played The Weapon? Yes you're correct. If I'm not mistaken though they didn't use in ear monitors back then though. Just regular on stage monitors. In ear monitor technology wasn't that big or maybe even around back then?!?! Don't quote me on that though.
  18. QUOTE (wolfy @ Apr 6 2011, 10:55 AM) I wear ear monitors and never entertained the idea of infections. I've never had an issue either. I have played tours cleaning them every night and tours only cleaning them once or twice a week and never had an issue. I'm actually impressed Neil can play such a long show wearing headphones because the comfort and sweat factor alone would drive me crazy.
  19. I agree that headphones are better live for hearing EVERYTHING. I have used both live and prefer the headphones as well.
  20. I've noticed in all the new photos of the 2011 Time Machine Tour that Neil is still wearing the headphones as opposed to the in ear monitors. Has anyone heard if he is still having issues with infection or is this merely by choice? When I first saw the new pictures of him wearing the headphones I was surprised and wondered if he will in fact wear them for the taping of the Cleveland show. Here is what was Neil originally said about switching to the headphones. "... The headphones I'm wearing also round off the ear-infection story, for now-or at least suggest the short version. After much experimentation with eardrops, creams, and hypotheses, two excellent doctors, Dr. Buzz Reifman and Dr. David Opperman, persuaded me to visit their clinic in Denver, specializing in "Care of the Professional Voice," but also a musician's ear, nose, and throat problems. Both ears were badly infected, aggravated by wearing the in-ear monitors onstage, and perhaps by wearing earplugs on the motorcycle, too-heat and moisture create a rainforest environment for bacteria, fungus, eczema, and psoriasis. The doctors prescribed a heavy regimen of three different antibiotics, and recommended that I switch to headphones (and no earplugs on the bike, but its Cee Bailey windscreen is pretty quiet). Within a few days, they had given me back two reasonably healthy ears. Never again will I take for granted simply hearing what I'm playing, what the other guys are playing, and-in everyday life-what people are saying to me. ..."
  21. I think it is great that acts like Rhianna and Christina Aguilera are having to cancel shows or entire tours because of low ticket sales, but Rush is able to pull off yet another amazing tour with great numbers in attendance. Last I checked there were no tickets available for Columbus show unless you want to go through a scalper.
