  1. John, GREAT pics! I placed 143 pics onto my computer yesterday, but too lazy to put them on photobucket. By the way, Pic #6 you can see me (baseball cap) and my fiance (redhead with short hair)sitting right in front of Alex. A couple of other times you caught us or her on cam. It was her first RUSH show. She is now sick with the flu. Go figure...... Thse are my "Thumbs-up" in the Geddy Touching the Rainbow pic. Again...GREAT STUFF!!!!!!
  2. QUOTE (TheWK90 @ Sep 12 2012, 01:11 AM) I bought my ticket through VIP Nation during the presale in which I needed a code. Finished my order in a little over 2 minutes and got front row for Pittsburgh. Right in front of Alex!!! Dude....I was 4 seats to your right....was awesome that you got sticks---I was the guy wearing the LHU hat. You were rockin' up a storm!
  3. QUOTE (Tombstone Mountain @ Sep 10 2012, 12:28 PM) QUOTE (drgrendel @ Sep 10 2012, 11:15 AM) Thanks folks! That is very interesting to know and VERY encouraging! I will be at the Pitt show tomorrow so I will be doing some observing myself to see how well the VIP'ers were treated. Get ready to have an awesome time bro...it'll definately make you feel better after the Bills got ...WTF is up with that? Spiller looked good! Taking a first-timer - fiance - to show. she cannot concentrate on work today - she is pumped! Regarding the Bills - Burned all things Buffalo Bills related last night - I refuse to be a Squeeler fan so I am picking Da Raiders!

  5. 1. Nobody here went VIP or 2. No one wants to admit to it. Was just curious to see if the ticket locations were worth the gamble.
  6. QUOTE (Snaked @ Sep 9 2012, 09:58 PM) QUOTE (LotusLand @ Sep 9 2012, 09:17 PM) This is a lazy setlist. Period. That is one of the most disrespectful comments I have read regarding this tour. Let me break this down for you. There are 17 songs being played this tour that have either NEVER been played live (the CA material) or haven't been played in at least 19 years. THAT is not lazy. THAT takes balls. To learn 17 songs for a tour is a hell of a lot of effort. Lazy would have been Freewill - again La Villa - again Red Barchetta - again The Trees - again Between The Wheels - again Distant Early Warning - again ... and the list goes on. The boys totally flipped the setlist this time around. They could have taken the easy way out and been lazy.. regurgitating the same material again.. .but no. They worked their asses off for US. You don't like the setlist. Thats a shame. They worked very hard on it for us. +1
  7. For those that went VIP - how were you treated ticket wise?
  8. ...so you ass clowns could enjoy your life worry free. I think there is more to worry about today than there has ever been. Thank you for your service though. Signed, Ass Clown
  9. No, you actually can't. IMHO Not like a song or two or even one album is okay, but to shun an ENTIRE era basically disqualifies you from 'diehard' status. Thankfully YHO does not amount to much in reality because being a fan of anything means going through ups and downs. Honesttly, RUSH really needs to put some thought regarding how to keep some of the new people in their fan base 'cos I'm thinkin this ain't the way to go. I will still attend, but honestly not looking forward to it with as much energy as I have for other tours. Here is the kicker, I LOVE PoW, GUP, HYF! Not sure I get the release a hard rocker but support it with synth opening set mentality though.
  10. QUOTE (sitboaf @ Sep 8 2012, 12:22 PM) Just about 3 hours, including everything. So, close to 2.5 hours of actual music. Thank you very kindly!
  11. I understand that it may be difficult to guage, given all the techno issues, but how long did the show/set last? Thanks for your time.
  12. I caved and looked after the show was over. 1. Thank you Lord for no Freewill 2. Analog Kid - nice! 3. Nice selection from CA How long of a show?
  13. I really like both PW and HYF. IMO, Second Nature would seem to fit rather well in the CA setlist.
  14. QUOTE (robertjames1971 @ Sep 6 2012, 04:27 PM) Sarcasm is tough to see when you can't actually see the person being sarcastic. So very true.......
  15. Actually, that was a pretty cool post! Sarcasm is often lost on both sides of the coin.
  16. I think that the songs that have been confirmed thus far make for a very interesting set.
  17. Sweet looking stuff!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Yes it is ugly. Sorry that I have a life apart from following stuff regarding some band from Canada.
  19. Either would be good for those with nothing better to do. I will be hanging out with friends and family discussing more important issues than RUSH.
  20. I love all the armchair, setlist, expert analysts. They so funnnnnyyyyyy...
