I used to hate Red Lenses as well but then I got over my whole "stereo typical 'Its not heavy enough' stupid rock fan mindset and now I like it alot. Which is pretty much what happened to me with everything after Moving Pictures until Counterparts, but then I got my head out of my butt and now I love all that stuff! Me and my buddy were the only one going nuts in our entire row when Marathon came on! haha

Well I think it would be cool if Rush went Pink Floyd hard rock style on CA. What if all the songs were still at Caravan type length but they all flowed together really nicely like Dark Side of The Moon did? And thus the entire album could almost be one long song even though they have individual movements.

Well it seems like they would have to at least record a show even if they dont release it as a full on DVD. I think it would be super cool if they released a live video of the new songs Caravan and BU2B. I am sure we will see some video from the time machine tour somewhere in the future even if its not on a full scale dvd.

His biggest gripe with the show was that Rush sounded too authentic to the albums! He was mad that they played the songs exactly like you would hear them on the album! He's mad that their songs were basically perfectly executed. Horrible horrible review!

I am definitely a fan of both artists. In some ways Bruce Springsteen is the exact opposite of Rush. He often goes for simplistic instrumentation, writes songs that are crafted for the everyday working man specifically, while Rush goes for very complex instrumentation and writes alot of songs about very complex topics that can divide alot of people. They are both good in their respective ways (of course Rush is better) but I can see why alot of Rush fans would dislike the big simple minded juggernaut of most of Bruce Springsteen's music.

This is my first show and I am so pumped! I really can't understand the backlash against this tour. I dont think people realize that as a touring band you want to appeal to as many people as you can, and this set list has the perfect balance of the rarities as well as the classics. People are getting mad this isn't a "B-Sides" tour but how could they expect that knowing that they are playing MP in its entirety? Its such a beautiful balance of both the rare and the amazingly popular. They have to appeal to us hardcore fans just as much as people who have only seen Rush from "I Love You Man" its just how it works and I think the boys are doing a fine job!

I am going to marry her, and her and I will spend 24/7 listening to Rush music, and when we have listened to every song they have ever played we will listen again.......

Anyone who is hating on this set list get off right now! They are playing Marathon and anyone who doesn't want to see that can head for the door!
