  1. SRO will respond to your email. They have always replied to mine. Just give them a week.
  2. another leg? The way RUSH is rocking, its already got 4 legs :-)
  3. Here is a sample of some of the audio I got from this show. let me know if you want more and I'll send you the links when I finish straightening them out. MARATHON
  4. was a great show. I was fully satisfied. Seems like they lost the jitters on Camera Eye. They were rockin!
  5. The cap was a nice surprise :-) And I will have links to audio shortly
  6. Yes, even cooler if they were 'RASH' umbrellas. The forecast is good for tonight! I am about to leave for the show in ten minutes!!! I am really excited and kind of glad for the time in between shows. I will hopefully have good Audio from this show. I'll keep ya posted.
  7. Me and my partner bought a pair for the rained out Chicago show. Then it got rescheduled. Because the first Chicago show was so good, he is content and doesn't feel the need to go. He will let his ticket go for $200. I will be in the seat next to you as I am a die-hard and will go to whatever shows I can. Hit me up if you're interested. SEC 103 - ROW S - Seat 1 - Hard Live Nation ticket
  8. I bought the black Polo shirt because I like the over all style with the arm patches and all. But the center logo in red is composed of the short felt/plush type material. I was reluctant to purchase it due to that fact, because one washing could kill it. But I did anyway....Fast forward to Chicago show...This guy with the same shirt walks up and asks me "did you was your shirt yet?" lol. His felt/plush symbol was ruined with one washing. But, he was crafty with a red sharpie so It was 'All good' :-)
  9. Chicago Charter One http://s41.photobucket.com/albums/e280/ELECTRO-UNIQUE/RUSH3005mini.jpg
  10. I call for a "Witch Hunt" on these bad posters, since were in the Moving Pictures mode :-P
  11. The guy (phallics) sounds like an old metal rocker fan (zepplin style) who got in at the very beginning and as soon as a synth was introduced, he quit. Maybe he wants time machine like "The only good music Rush put out was before they got signed" type of time machine. Sounds more like an OLD Machine to me :-) Marathon was the biggest treat for me as well as Presto and TSS. Presto is an amazing album IMO.
  12. I chose Hemispheres side 1. If I had to choose something else, I would pick all of the above. :-P
  13. I heard from a reliable source (20 year avid Rush influenced drummer) that Neil matched the Moving Pictures drums note for note to the album for the most part at the Chicago July5 show. Including the drum tuning.
  14. You're not the only one. And I don't listen to it in the lot or on the way home afterward. I will however have the local radio station that is sponsoring the show and listen to their deep cuts and songs that gear up for the show (as background music at work).
  15. Summerfest Milwaukee had all forms of Pyro
  16. Good story. My first front row experience was in front of Geddy at Milwaukee Marcus Ampitheater. I had won the tix from Rush.com and it was very exciting to have a low stage in front of me. Geddy was very interactive with me and my partner the whole show and even gave my buddy a funny look out of the corner of his eye for my buddy singing falsetto on one part of a song. To top off the joy of interacting with Geddy. While throwing the dryer shirts into the crowd, I yelled 'Geddy!!!!' real loud and he leaned way over and tossed the shirt about 2 ft to me. :-) One of the best nights of my life so far. :-)
  17. A good dose of live music by RUSH will fix any headache. :-)
  18. Last time I tried to go to Canada (Niagara crossing prior to the Darien Lake show some time back) They wouldnt let me in. So, I wont waste your time. :-)
  19. Its funny that you guys are still calling the Allstate Arena the Rosemont Horizon :-) Thats what I call it...the good ole Rosemont Horizon. Saw my first show there for Roll The Bones. And Fitz, did you happen to catch Rush at The Forum on Rand/Euclid back then? My dad took my Mom to that show just before they got married. I think Kansas played there too.
  20. My friend Brian whom I brought to the show (who is a very avid studier of Rush drums, said that Neil reverted to all the original fills from the MP album as well as the tuning of the analog drums. Apparantly Neil deviated in the late 80's on how he played them) How about YYZ at this tempo? This is one of my favs just from the surrounding fans reactions.
  21. I took my little brother who was 12 at the time to the R30 tour at Tinley Park, IL. It was his first show and we had front row seats from the Rush.com contest. I took him to Milwaukee this tour. I never pushed RUSH on him, he has made all the effort on his own and is an avid bassist, guitarist, and trumpeter. :-)
  22. QUOTE (Todem @ Jul 8 2010, 11:25 AM) QUOTE (BIAS2112 @ Jul 7 2010, 11:21 PM) My meet and greet was interesting. They shuffled us around in the secure area. back and forth, back and forth. They were waiting for the boys to finish dinner. All the while 'stormclouds were looming low and ominous' and 'thunderheads were rumbling in a distant overture' The venue has nothing but mobile out-buildings. No permanent structures except for the stage. After our rules briefing, they shuffled us into a large out-building that contained the dining hall in 4/5 of the space and the meet and greet studio in the remaining 1/5. There was a full buffet complete with chocolate covered strawberries, food, coffee, and there was a table that looked like the one in the final video of the show. I couldn't find the plate with the 'This sandwich for Neil only' sign on it though. They were very fast and borderline rude. I said 'thank you for a lifetimes worth of multi-faceted inspiration' while I shook Lerxt hand. He said thank you. I said 'Hi geddy' he siad Hi and we took the pic and I waved on my way out and said 'good luck on the rest of the tour'. It is an honor to have that chance, but it is so superficial. http://s41.photobucket.com/albums/e280/ELECTRO-UNIQUE/MGlow1.jpg I'm the tall one next to Alex. The short guy is my coworker, he wanted to 'Slap that Bass' :-) Are you saying Alex and Geddy were borderline rude? Or the folks running the meet and greet. My journalistic skills rearing their ugly head again. The staff was borderline rude. Alex and Geddy were very nice.
