I too, like indoors for summer shows, you get the entire light show from the beginning and the weather is never a factor. Saw the Stones in Frisco a few years ago outside and thankfully, the notorius Bay Area weather was kind. very memorable event.

Incorrectly air drumming

I wouldn't know, I tend to stand pretty still and maybe bob my head a little. I always feel conspicuous playing air drums or air bass or air jordan.. -
Mike Portnoy's Evening With Rush

I guess we all think the same thing at some point: "I'd love to be famous!!!" but seriously, what a complete pain in the ass.. imagine it for a few minutes... don't think about when it would be easy and convienient-think about trying to spend time with your kids at the park, or enjoying a nice meal with your wife or close friends and people are constantly asking you for an autograph and being goofy because they're nervous. yeah, I'd love to be in a great band touring the world, but screw the fame thing... -
Alex explains his new amps in detail
Outtalove replied to test4eggroll's topic in On The Lighted Stage
now I can finally have a bass amp in my living room. my wife would always scowl when I rolled in my GK rig for a little couch/TV/practice time... -
Wasn't aware Steampunk had anything to do with drums or rhythm...? or am I alone in this?

Horrible Review of the Time Machine Tour
Outtalove replied to By-Thor's topic in On The Lighted Stage
"Those who can't do, teach. those who can't teach, teach gym. those who couldn't do anything at all, were all at my school.." -Woody Allen ..and those who couldn't get a job at that school, review RUSH concerts for a living. -
Any links to any youtube videos (SPOILERS)

with the complaints of the song order, one should keep in mind that Geddy has to be carefull that he doesn't strain his voice... -
Portnoy seems like a cool guy.. actually, the only drummer I've met who was an ass was Carmine Appice
-
yeah, but it was still night time when they shot RIR..
-
Only thing about Red Rocks is it's outdoors. Most bands tend to film indoors, so they have the full effect of the lighting from the beginning to the end.

Now that I can see it clearly, I get it: This machine is located under the riser and is actually playing the drums-not Neil. I KNEW NO HUMAN COULD PLAY THAT WELL!!!

you know the conversation went something like this... DESIGNER: "Guys? Here's the new look, whaddayathink? ALEX: "Cooool..very steampunk!" NEIL: "Cooool..very Jules Verne!" ALEX: "Julie who?" NEIL: "Steam what?"
