  1. Did the best I could a lot of noisy people in line. Hard to hear sound check from where I am anyways stage faces the other direction and is a good distance away. No Losing It was sound checked.
  2. I will periscope the sound check for those interested. Video won't be interesting no way to get inside anywhere close to see anything. Even will call is outside of the venue.
  3. I'll be there. Will periscope the sound check for anyone who wants to hear it.
  4. QUOTE (BrightAntennae @ Aug 31 2012, 07:17 PM) These appear to be electric violins? Looks like a there is a cable going to the instrument and I think I see a pickup as well. I guess this makes sense for sound projection....as opposed to using acoustic which would need to be miked and probably pretty sensitive to movement etc. Are there any violinists that care to chime in? Those are actually normal acoustic violins with a special pickup built into the bridge. Fishman along with other companies sell special bridges with pickups built in like a piezo bridge for a guitar. The output jack is likely mounted just under the chin rest and that's where the cable would be plugged into.
  5. QUOTE (rsmintzberg @ Aug 28 2012, 08:46 PM) QUOTE (BrightAntennae @ Aug 28 2012, 07:13 PM) My "guess" is we'll hear strings on: The Anarchist Halo Effect The Wreckers The Garden Mission Losing It I'm surprised it's only 6 songs (approximately) as rumored by FOH. I was expecting at least a couple more. I think Nobody's Hero is a prime candidate to be played with a string section.
  6. I don't know what it's going to be but I know I will be there. Won't be a DVD filming though the band already released news that they are filming the Cleveland show. So who knows what it could mean.
  7. QUOTE (toonz @ Jun 21 2010, 03:31 PM)Sometimes I wonder if the band themselves is responsible for some of these "spoilers". You would think there would be pretty tight control on that soundstage. Hard to imagine anyone getting that good of a shot without being noticed. Yeah, cuz if you look at it, it kinda looks like its being video taped from two different cameras on both sides of the video screen, and are edited together, so it almost seems like its not by accident, and if you go to the person who posted the videos homepage on youtube, in the little info they give about themselves, it says their from Canada, so its tough to say, but I dont think this got on Youtube by accident.
