it took rush 25 years to ditch the inferior bands that disgraced the stage before them...outside of 2-3 acts none were ever worth seeing before a rush sow...primus, eric johnson that's about it- marilon fans don't even go their. so WHY would anyone want Rush to play a big festival? so other people can witness their awesomeness? who cares about them? they've had plenty of time to get on the ball with Rush. the one biG difference is that geddy and alex used to dance, a LOT...and now they don't so much. i could get into specifics about gear and whatnot, but obviously many people 'round here don't get that part of the equation. rush's sound and vibe is as powerful as ever. that should not be up for debate PERIOD... not really sure how people keep saying how they used to be so much better...more likely that those people have changed (into dicks- or always have been dicks) than those 3 jedi masters of music have somehow weakened over the years...rediculous. seriously people- you should go outside of your family Dr. and see an ENT or other ear specialist and GET YOUR f***ing EARS CHECKED...
