  1. All 50 states. So much to see and do here...
  2. Good movie. Storyline was decent, overall visualizations were nice. A bit too modern for my tastes in regards to Asgard. But, acceptable.
  3. 350 miles per week in a full size van that at last fill up was $115 from 1/8 of a 32 gallon tank. I can get on average about 400 miles per fill. I fill up approximately 8 times a month. I need a smaller car so I can park the tank.
  4. QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Mar 4 2011, 01:37 PM) When you visit someone in the hospital, you're there to visit THEM, not worry about how you're going to entertain yourself. It's not a hotel room, it's a hospital -- that person is in there for a reason. Your visit time might be limited because they might need sleep, so make the most of that time and give them your attention. Leave the phone alone. The world can wait. Common courtesy, no? Also agree with Mara that society has gone too far for being intertwined with technology. I'm a computer SysAdmin by trade. But, I could care less about the latest technology, how to do something, etc. on a cell phone, twitter, etc. I'd gladly pitch my phone in the recycle bin if I could and go without. But, we no longer have a home phone and I currently have to use my cell phone for work stuff. Once I'm able to get my phone out of the work cycle, I'm going to a pay by the minute plan as I talk no more than 90 minutes a month and send/receive less than 100 texts a month. About $14/month max is what I'd be using. I used ot have a G1, but I rarely used it and ditched the calling plan. I've been involved in a number of car accidents due to other drivers not paying attention: Three rear end collisions, one t-bone and most recently a head on collision. Still recovering from the most recent one and will be for some time. It's stupid that people can't realize that things can wait until later. I turn my phone to vibrate at all times except for when I'm on call because I don't want to disturb others. Dinner, movie, at the store, etc. I won't answer it. Although, I have had to call the wife a time or two from the grocery store. Common sense. It's not so common anymore.
  5. Just saw the Greet Hornet tonight. Made me lose more respect for Seth Rogan as an actor. Not that I really had any before as I think he's a buffoon with the acting skills of an 8th grade pothead. I was extremely tempted to walk out of this movie multiple times. But, the only reason why I stayed was because I had to pass a couple of hours while waiting for something.
  6. QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Dec 27 2010, 08:08 PM) I've seen this a couple of times. Fine idea for a movie, and the performances were strong. But I hated the ending. HATED it. I thought it was arbitrary, as if they forced in a gimmicky surprise ending. I don't want to say more than that and spoil it for others. I'll agree, it was a bit lacking on the ending. But, at the same time, I think it was a fitting ending.
  7. Excellent movie and definitely worth watching. IMO, it was on par with the rest of his movies.
  8. I didn't mind Crystal Skulls too much. It was okay. But, not the best of them. Like Ken said, they did great with what the times were then. As for next movie: "Indiana Jones and the Search for Metamucil"
  9. QUOTE (chrxtopher @ Nov 24 2010, 01:22 PM) Yeah, it's funny, I got recognized by tons of fans at the Rush shows I went to this past tour. I was at RushCon the last few years and got interviewed. I guess I said the right things because Sam used two clips in the movie, and one in the DVD extras. By the way, RushCon totally rules, and everybody should go. I've had a complete blast every year I've been ('07, '09, '10). For those that have signatures turned off: http://www.christopherschneberger.com/images/SigImage.jpg thanks! I still need to get the DVD. Perhaps I can convince the wife that it'd be a good Christmas present.

You didn't catch a certain documentary about a certain Canadien power trio last summer? Because that TRFer was in it talking about Subdivisions and himself I saw it. Just didn't catch the reference and didn't recognize said person in avatar (also, I just realized I have sigs turned off).

I thought that was the redheaded trait? LOL.... No we're just insanely passionate and a lil bit on the crazy side. There's a problem with that?
