QUOTE (Snaked @ May 25 2012, 11:10 PM) QUOTE (Gilbertk @ May 25 2012, 10:03 PM) A tour every 2 years or so... oh yeah MAJOR overkill S&A - 07/08 TM - 10/11 CA - 12/13 They've toured 6 of the last 7 years. I'm not complaining just stating the fact that the lackluster sales have a bit to do with over saturation. Look at bands like Styx or Def Leppard they tour every summer (literally) and sometimes come around multiple times a year. They seem to get venues close to capacity

So I'm going to both Toronto shows . I'm quite excited but I have a general question. I was unable to obtain floor seats. I'm not too disappointed I got floor row 7 for Detroit. For Oct 14th I got section 109 row 16 and Oct 16th I got 108 row 14 are these good seats I've never been to the ACC before so I pretty excited. Does anybody have pics theyve taken from these sections I'd like to have an idea of what I'm gunna see.

I think theres some truth behind this -
QUOTE (likeclockwork @ May 22 2012, 11:01 AM) Clockwork Angels is VERY good. Classic is obviously a tough standard but this definitely feels like the type of song people have been hoping for. The best way I can describe Clockwork Angels is to say that it sounds like a modern-sounding longer song from the same band that did Hemispheres, Xanadu etc. It's certainly the centerpiece of the album and the music (especially in the beginning) does sound like it could be right out of Caress of Steel. This is promising. I'd like to thank you for posting about CA before its release

PREDICTION: two songs never played
jesse2112 replied to Snow-Dog2112's topic in On The Lighted Stage
I'm thinking they might do an acoustic version of those songs after Neil's solo -

QUOTE (Merely Space @ May 22 2012, 09:02 AM) To be honest, there's only a few songs on the never played list that I'd die to hear anymore. But songs they've only played once or not in twenty years is a goldmine. The Enemy Within Chemistry Middletown Dreams Turn The Page Test For Echo Ceiling Unlimited

QUOTE (losingit2k @ May 21 2012, 10:18 PM) QUOTE (default236 @ May 21 2012, 10:07 AM) QUOTE (J2112YYZ @ Apr 21 2012, 05:07 AM) I think since nothing was played off RTB last tour that Dreamline has a good shot at being back in the set as the opener. I would really like to see Overture/Temples Of Syrinx open the show but i'm not sure if Geddy will be able to hit those high notes right at the start or if he needs to sing a few songs to get his voice warmed up to do it. That would sure be a great way to start the show and you would have the crowd going nuts right away. For some reason I just keep thinking that Dreamline will be the opener. Wow! No one has mentioned The Trees yet. I doubt they would leave out a song like that again. I'm counting on them playing it again, or at least the second leg like the S&A tour. I think many expect a repeat of the Counterparts tour where they played Hemipheres (Prelude) followed by Xanadu! I love the Trees maybe my favorite Rush song. That being said it would make a terrible opener. I still hope they play it tho

I see that my suggestion was very unpopular. I change my mind they shouldn't record that perform record the Toronto shows because I'll be at both of them -

Well this is awesome news -
I'm not a huge Maiden fan but occasionally I'll listen to them. Well I just acquired a copy of "Seventh Son of A Seventh Son" today and gave it a spin. It effin rocks! At times I would call it progressive metal. Anyway I'm going to see them at Sarnia Bayfest and now I'm even more excited because I guess Seventh Son is going to be the centrepiece of their upcoming tour.

QUOTE (FeelingUnlimited @ May 19 2012, 01:33 PM) QUOTE (furie @ May 19 2012, 12:24 PM) i don't know if this counts as a leak but my local independent record store is selling the CD a few days early, as soon as they come in. What store is this? I live upstate and may be willing to make the trip, depending how far in advance it will be. me too!

I think I need a break from TRF

Great article I just hope with the release of CA Rush doesn't become super mainstream among the hipster/douchebag/poser demographic
