  6. QUOTE (FountainOfSyrinx @ Sep 9 2012, 09:22 PM) And BTW, very few are saying WTF. Most of us are still walking around with the chubs we got on friday night.
  7. QUOTE (tullfan @ Sep 9 2012, 07:23 PM) Rush gives their 70s fans a middle finger on the CA Tour. With ticket prices averaging $100.00 + this is what they do ? By what I can tell on this forum many of you are younger and have no problem with this, but you know what, Rush became popular during the 70s. Us older fans went to their shows, bought their albums, t shirts and tour books. Had a great time. This all came to a head when Moving Pictures came out and Rush was king. Record sales through the roof. All was well in Rushworld. Signals came out and was great and then they get the bright idea to not use Terry Brown and start dropping their epicness for a bunch of lame 80s records and set list that started the trend of completely ignoring their past along with a segment of their fan base, you know, the ones they gained their popularity on. It's very insulting to do this to the fans that got them there, but apparently there are other generations after who seem to love their post 1985 stuff. That's fine, I just think that Rush could put aside 45 minutes in their set list to please the older fans. After all that is the least they could do and they #!#@%ing know it. Instead they take the "This is what we are going to do and we can care less about the fans" attitude. O.K. fine. I give up. I will not be going to this show. The first Rush tour I will miss since the Hemispheres Tour. I was a diehard and they threw fans like me under the bus. I'm sick of it !!!!!!!!!!! Must be nice making tons of money playing a bunch of songs some of us don't want to hear, oh and by the way, make sure no one steals your t-shirt money Rush because you don't make any on the concert ticket. Give me a #$@%ing break. If you're that butthurt dont go!
  8. QUOTE (losingit2k @ Sep 9 2012, 12:22 PM) There's a "C" set list as well. As in you can "C" it on the R40 tour! R40 is not a real thing
  9. Its so awesome they decided to drop some of the staples for all those gems
  10. If they're ending with 2112 they must be doing Overture, Temples, and Grand Finale
  11. They haven't played body Electric since 1984
  12. QUOTE (Thunder Bay Rush @ Sep 4 2012, 09:33 PM) If you haven't listened to "Max" I suggest you give them a go... unreal band. Kim Mitchell is probably the only Canadian guitar player that is considered by some to be even better than Alex Lifeson. He can really go... I agree check out "World of Giants"
  13. I found this in my dad's vinyl collection http://991.com/newGallery/Max-Webster-Live-Magnetic-Air-465639.jpg
  14. QUOTE (OGr8imL84AD8inF8sBlackSedan @ Sep 3 2012, 05:37 AM) There's not a lot to tell. I guess it was made around the Hemispheres tour and was available in the early 80's at record shops all over although there were far more common posters I had that poster. Bought it around '82 at some record shop somewhere. Sold it on ebay a couple of years ago. I think I got around 15 or 20 bucks for it. I think I bought it from you
  15. Will Chromey be on display everyday of Rush Con? I'll be going on Sunday
  16. I thought it was awesome how they made shirts for the Canadian dates. I got the one just like your poster http://i.ebayimg.com/t/IRON-MAIDEN-2012-Canadian-Exclusive-shirt-Maiden-England-Tour-Canada-ONLY-Large-/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/%24T2eC16ZHJIYE9qUcOuT9BP%2B(rM2(jQ~~60_57.JPG But I really wish I could get my hands on this one http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_5toLmODoA4U/SNJH-QobmsI/AAAAAAAAIII/ZHTOSG2ly9w/s400/23+545.jpg this band has the most badass shirts
