Yeah I didn’t really care for the flamenco style Lee adapted starting with Counterparts.  He was playing too many notes too fast from then onto the end of the bands career And the lines weren’t nearly as well thought out and melodic

    Absolutely agree!

Likewise. I know the white 355 is the trademark Alex guitar and I'd love to have it, but given the choice I think I'd go with this one.

The one I'd want as well. Since I saw the MTV concert when I was in junior high

  3. Kramer Duke and a Fender Mustang. If I were young and were to do it all over again, I would construct a 29" scale 5 string tuned DGCFBb. The traditional eadgc would be at the second fret. It would be as if you put a capo on the third fret and sawed off the headstock and the first 2 frets.

  4. Saw this tour in Rochester, NY. Last stop with Candlebox so they played the first verse of Working Man and Geddy sang it from back stage. Halfway through the show Alex teased the opening riff and Neil sat there with his arms folded.

  5. I remember liking it but probably because it was Rush and not because of the songs. It was my fifth new Rush album and the first one to contain a song I didn’t like. Superconductor. Still don’t like it. The album would be better if it were recorded a decade earlier by someone else.
  6. I never played a wal, but I like the sounds from most who played them. I did not like Lee's sound though. Trevor Jones made one sound good though.

    Percy Jones?

Indeed... Must have been thinking of Trevor Horn. He could play a mean fretless as well...though not a Wal

  7. I have a new guitar, but I can't figure out how to post a pic. It's a Rainsong and I'm using it on a gig tonight.

The board doesn't allow direct uploading of images. You'll have to upload it to a pic hosting site like Photobucket.

Thank you. I will get on uploading one.

  8. Wish Them Well... I listened to this yesterday and loved it for the first time.

Were you drunk or high? :laughing guy:

Seemed innocuous enough; they must not make sarcasm detectors like they used to, given the reax to the post.

The period after neither must have passed through the detector as well... That was my attempt. I took it as sarcasm.
