  1. It is a Time Machine, so besides older instruments, what classic videos and props (for corresponding classic songs) would you like to see brought back to the stage? Giant bunnies sound pretty cool to me. Also, the Count Floyd video from The Weapon intro!
  2. Anyone think there might be even the slightest, 0.01% chance that they play Fly By Night? Or is that one a lost cause? Whether they play FBN or not, I'd like to see Marathon or Chain Lightning.
  3. HAHAH! The first choice is "Spirit of the Radio" ...for some reason it always bothers me when people get that wrong. Anyway, I don't like any of these choices as an opener for this particular tour but if I had to pick one I guess it would be The Spirit of Radio. I'd rather see Subdivisions or Roll the Bones though.
  4. Rush said it best: Show, Don't Tell How many times do you hear it? It goes on all day long Everyone knows everything And no one's ever wrong Until later... Who can you believe? It's hard to play it safe But apart from a few good friends We don't take anything on faith Until later... Show...don't tell... (Show me, don't tell me) You've figured 'OUT the SCORE' (Show me, don't tell me) I've heard it all before (Show me, don't tell me) I don't care what you say (Show me, don't tell me)
  5. Metaldad, if I had the setlist it would be a done deal
  6. Maybe Subdivisions to open? Has anyone said that yet? That would be awesome!!
  7. Rushnut, I got 4 tickets for section 110 (lower bowl, obviously) row U...and I couldn't be any happier! I was extremely lucky to find lower bowl tix, every other time I checked for tickets they were terrible, upper level seats. I'm not the closest to the stage, but I'm gonna have a GREAT view as its close to center, Al's side. Best seats I've had for Rush yet
  8. I'll glance at the setlist once or twice just to get a feel for it, then I'll leave that thing alone until showtime!
  9. I didn't have any luck finding floor seats or even lower bowl seats during the presale for Columbus (this may have been because I tried to find tickets later in the day) BUT I'm ready and well prepared for the public sale tomorrow. Seeing how all the good presale tickets are bought up, what are the chances I'll get floor or lower bowl tickets if I search for them tomorrow as soon as they go on sale? Good / bad? I only would like to know so I'm not sorely disappointed tomorrow morning.
  10. I didn't have any luck finding floor seats or even lower bowl seats during the presale I mentioned in my last post (this may have been because I tried to find tickets later in the day) BUT I'm ready and well prepared for tomorrows public sale for Columbus. Seeing how all the good presale tickets are bought up, what are the chances I'll get floor or lower bowl tickets if I search for them tomorrow as soon as they go on sale? Good or bad? I only would like to know so I'm not sorely disappointed tomorrow morning.
  11. I think most people are in denial that they are ONCE AGAIN opening with Spirit of Radio. I, myself, am in denial about it. And I hope you are incorrect, though I'm not calling you a liar. It's just that they have like 180 songs and they choose the same few to open with everytime. I think I'd rather hear ANYTHING besides TSOR, TS, or LL to open the show this time.
  12. The Camera Eye AND Jacob's Ladder?! If you're still complaining about ticket prices, then you need to stay the hell home this tour!!!
  13. Nope, no reason to soil the greatness of the Holy Trinity with some lesser band. When I see Rush, its RUSH NIGHT.
  14. If we haven't guessed it yet then why don't ya just tell us?!
  15. It has not! They didn't play Roll The Bones on the Snakes and Arrows tour, and thats the only Rush tour I've seen. So I'd love to see RTB this time. But Time Stand Still would also be pretty amazing as well!
  16. Roll Them Bones!! Not sure if Roll the Bones is considered a 'hit' to many people besides myself though
  17. Open Secrets Chain Lighting The Big Wheel Everyday Glory The Stars Look Down (They NEED to do this one, its easily one of their best IMO) It was really hard to pick just 5. 'We Hold On' was close to beating out 'Chain Lightning'. WHO is definitely underrated.
  18. I've bought enough tickets from Nationwide's website that they offered me a presale deal starting tomorrow at 10am and lasts until Thursday at 5pm. Hoping to get some good seats, anyone have an idea if there are any floor tickets left? I'd love a closer view of the boys this time around.
  19. Would anyone mind telling how much (on average) they spent per ticket? Columbus isn't on sale yet and I was trying to come up with an estimate so I can tell my friends how much moolah to give me in advance. I can't afford 4 tickets on my own!
  20. New songs?! I thought they hadn't written anything since that Diane Sawyer tune...
  21. Pariahdog- "Maybe all the high-price boycotters can get together and have a big b1tchfest the night Rush plays their town?" Dude, that's not nice. Some people are less fortunate and just can't afford to go. I know I'll be working hard and saving lots just so I can go. I'm glad you can afford to go with (seemingly) no problem or worries of costs, but for some people its just not as easy. Be considerate.
  22. g under p, what do you mean you toured with Michael Franti? I saw them last month with John Mayer and they put on a very entertaining show.
  23. upstatenyfan, I'm just messin' around dude. I totally get what you're saying and was merely offering the extreme opposite as another point of view. As much as I hate to shell out that much hard earned cash, I just have to, to go see my favorite band. Its just tough times right now, ya know?
