  1. For those who like SNL I'm reminding ya that the new Season starts tonight. I love the show but I don't usually watch ones I've seen before a whole lot unless they have a good band that night.
  2. I'm surprized I'm the only one who picked "Window to the World". That song is great. I love that fuzzy tone that guy gets on that one. Sounds cool.
  3. QUOTE (PuppetKing2112 @ Oct 1 2005, 05:53 PM) I read that Joey Kramer will be sitting out the upcoming tour. I doubt if I would notice any difference unless his replacement is like way better. He don't seem like the kind of drummer that his absence would affect the overall sound a whole hell of a lot.
  4. QUOTE (ES-335 @ Oct 1 2005, 04:04 PM) QUOTE (Indica @ Oct 1 2005, 02:55 PM) I seen Areosmith in 82 or somewhere around there. Joe Perry wasn't with them at the time and it was one of the worse concerts I've ever been to. It totally sounded like crap, I couldn't tell which song they were playing sometimes until after about a minute. I saw them with Joe Perry 2 years ago when Kiss was with them and it was pretty kick ass. I guess what I'm saying is JOE PERRY IS Aerosmith. ... well ... 1/2 Joe Perry AND Steven Tyler is Aerosmith. They others are just a rhythm section. I saw them a few times when they were all still "using" and it was less than spectacular, but I wasn't exactly in a lucent state at the time either Yeah I should have gave Steve more credit. He is a big part of their sound and who they are. I read stories about him before he became a singer, he was a drummer and wanted more attention so during a gig he jumped out from behind the drums and started choking the singer on stage LOL. I don't know how true that is but I read it in some rock Mag years ago.

  8. QUOTE (Moonraker @ Sep 1 2005, 11:31 AM) QUOTE (Indica @ Sep 1 2005, 01:31 AM) QUOTE (Moonraker @ Aug 24 2005, 03:54 AM) Heh, already traded my two SOAD tickets for 2 GA NIN tickets. I decided to go for the Download show since there will be 6 bands, Quality>Quanity Heh, that was the idea. Never was that big of a SOAD fan to begin with at all, though I am sure they put on a hell of a show. Mars Volta was really the only driving force in buying those tickets. I saw S.O.A.D and Mars Volta again last night and this time we had 8th row seats. The first time I didn't have good seats and it didn't sound that great but this time I have to say that Mars Volta rocks!!! I kept hearing some Zep Influence but that's not like a bad thing because they do have some unique songs. I'm gonna have to get that CD.
  9. Plus they are shooting a video in Grand Rapids MI on Sept 28, that would be cool to be at that show. SYSTEM OF A DOWN SET TO RELEASE HYPNOTIZE NOVEMBER 22 ON CD AND DUALDISC Six months after System of a Down's Mezmerize debuted at number one on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart, the uncompromising and outspoken quartet returns with Hypnotize, part two of a promised two-album set. American Recordings/Columbia will release two versions of Hypnotize, the band's fifth studio album, on November 22. Both the CD and DualDisc versions feature 12 new songs as well as artwork by Vartan Malakian, father of SOAD's guitarist/singer Daron. The packaging for Hypnotize is specially designed to physically join Mezmerize and Hypnotize together, forming one unified product with continuous artwork. Additionally, the DualDisc edition will contain exclusive behind-the-scenes footage showing the making of both records. More importantly, the albums interlock musically. The final track on Hypnotize, "Soldier Side" completes "Soldier Side Intro," which appears as the opening track on Mezmerize. HYPNOTIZE Track Listing 1. "Attack" 2. "Dreaming" 3. "Kill Rock 'n Roll" 4. "Hypnotize" 5. "Stealing Society" 6. "Tentative" 7. "U-Fig" 8. "Holy Mountains" 9. "Vicinity of Obscenity" 10. "She's Like Heroin" 11. "Lonely Day" 12. "Soldier Side" ============================================= BE A PART OF HYPNOTIZE HISTORY On September 28th, at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI, System Of A Down want you to be a part of history. 12. Cool, I didn't even know she was knocked up. Amy Pohler rocks though.
  13. Sometimes when I get focused the mishaps occur only in the brain and we know that this could be a problem but never say never you wouldnt want 13 years of bad luck if you're lucky.

BTW, congrats on the Foo Fighters floor seats, I missed out on em by calling ticketmaster 5 minutes too late. I'm gonna have to find some other route to get those tickets. Yeah I know, I'm just joking, I know everyones taste in music is different. Damn that sucks about the tickets. We both were online at the minute they went on sale so that helped. I have pretty good luck getting tickets online from ticketmaster usually. When S.O.A.D played in Jersey I picked up 2 tickets on the floor for $10 on ebay, they were ticketfast so the shipping was free, I put them on ebay and sold them for $60 the next day then with the money I got a upper level seat. That was cool how that worked out, a free show, and it was a killer one at that. Sometimes the best things in life are free. Well, I guess I had to hustle a little but it wasn't that hard to make an auction, then email someone tickets, I even got the payment through paypal so it went right into my account lol.
