i missed the fumble angry.gif how much did vanderdousche miss by and how long was the attempt?

It was a 47 yarder I believe. The most accurate kicker in the history of the NFL missed it by a good amount, far to the right. The right team won though, the refs tried their best to give the colts the win and the best team who dominated the whole game won it anyway.

Ok, I'm awake. I find myself in a hospital bed, but from what the doctors are saying, I'm ok. Last thing I remember is Vanderjat missing a field goal.

Same thing happened to me!!!! My doc said if I watch next weeks game I will have to wear an implantable defibrillator. laugh.gif

When Bettis fumbled I thought of the playoff game in 1987 Broncos vs Browns when Ernest Bynar fumbled on the 2 and blew the game and the broncos went on to the super bowl. That game is called "The Fumble" ......anyone remember that?

This has to be one of the top 3 best games I've ever seen in my life.

I had a slight heart attack (I'm ok now laugh.gif ) I shit my pants twice and pissed there at the end when he missed that field goal....

Ok, time again for my Steeler prediction. Wheeeew this is a hard one. It would be so easy to go with Indy going by the last time they met up, and how well Indy played this year. I only predicted the Steelers to lose 2 times in the last 2 years so my record is like 28 wins and 4 loses which is pretty spectacular if you ask me. OK, enough stroking my own ego, it's time to get down to business. OK, here it goes.

I have a feeling that the Steelers are going to upset the colts. The colts are coming off a bye week which can be good, or it can be bad. The Steelers are coming off a 5 game winning streak which is good I think. It's in Indy so that's another advantage. The Steelers will go with a silent snap count so that should help the crowd noise. I can't bring myself to pick the Colts because I think they will lose this week. If the Steelers can win the turnover battle then I think they will win it.

    Steelers 28
    Colts 24

My prediction wasn't all that close but I did pick the underdog, and they won so I can live with that.

    Steelers 21

    Colts 18

2 MORE WINS BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YEAH BABY YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was going for the Pats ... but oh well ... congrats to all the Broncos fans.

    GO Colts!

Since the falcons are out of it you might as well go for the underdog!!! rofl3.gif

    Since 98, I can't go for the Broncos angry.gif

Also ... I would go for the Steelers if they were playing anyone else ... and if they win, I will be cool with that and go for them next week ... But, I am a Peyton fan and a Dungy fan and thus will go for the Colts.

Oh and the Colts are -10.

    NFC wise ... GO BEARS!

    BLAH , BLAH , BLAH , TONIGHT ON THIS THREAD ITS ALL ABOUT THE DENVER BRONCOS !!!!!!!!!!!!!! BAKE ......! THE...... ROLLS ......! ! ! ! ! !

You have 7 more days to be happy. The best 2 AFC teams are playing in Indy Tomorrow. smile.gif

  10. Looks like the Broncos are going to win it!!!!

I hope the Championship game is going to be played in Denver this year!!!!!!

    That would be SOOOOOOOOO sweet!!!!!!!!!

It's about time someone knock off the Pats in the post season!!! Good job Denver!!!

  11. QUOTE (restart @ Jan 13 2006, 10:38 PM)
So they must depend on the recorded music and their own memory of chording and fingering when it comes to being able to play songs live?

    Yes.

A lot of musicians I know don't even know how to write or read tabs and they have full CD's of music they write themselves. If you notice, depending on the source of the tabs you find, they are slightly different than each other because the person who transcribes them learn the music by ear then transcribes it how they play it, a lot of times they are wrong. I've seen 3-4 different tabs on the same song before. Most musicians don't need tabs for their own songs. They would have to be awefully burned out to need tabs to remember their own songs.

one more day till we bake new englands rolls !

Yes, sir rea!!!! I can't wait!!!

Good luck to the broncos, I will be cheering for them this week. Although they are a 3 point favorite, I can't help to look at them as the underdogs. I always find myself rooting for the underdogs every year. I actually think this is a very even matchup, with 2 great coaches, 2 of the best in the league IMO.

  13. QUOTE (liquidcrystalcompass @ Jan 13 2006, 08:44 AM)
I like Cower and I like the Steelers team. I love the approach of ball control with a punishing running game along with a stingy degense. However, the Steelers are in big trouble this week. I don't think that this match up is good for them. The Colts are a focused team playing on that track field of gridiron. I expect a blowout.

I'm a Cowboys fan and I know that it may seem strange for me to like the Steelers but if they are to somehow pull this one out they must......

Start the game with Sweeps and a down field passing game. Try to throw the Colts off balance and tire them. If they can keep the game close at halftime, then they can begin to wear down the Colts with the Bus. At that point and time they will be able to begin their punishing ball control game. I don't see it happening though.

    Good luck Steelers.

    I agree 100%

I feel that for the Steelers to pull this one off they must also win the turnover game and play mistake free football. Easier said than done I know. The colts have one of the best giveaway takeaway ratios and that's one main reason they have the best record in football. The Steelers also have a decent ratio. The Steelers only way to win is to take away the ball a couple more times and a little luck won't hurt either. laugh.gif

I'd like for them to win but a good game to watch is all I can ask for at this point, a win would be a bonus. If they lose it wouldn't be a shocker or anything but if they won I wouldn't be shocked either. That's why the games are played, if they don't beat the colts then they shouldn't be in the super bowl anyway. If they do beat them then I hope they get the respect they deserve. I'm just happy they are in the position to have a chance to the super bowl. Only 4 AFC teams left and one is my team so I am happy at this point.
