  3. QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Jan 6 2006, 11:30 AM) QUOTE (Indica @ Jan 6 2006, 03:26 AM) I saw Jennifer Love Hewitt tonight on a talk show and shes starting to look rough for some reason. I used to think she was cute but the last few times I saw her I changed my mind. I see girls all the time at walmart or the local Quicky Mart that are way cuter than her. http://64.211.46.141/rp/sr378_hewit66713764.jpg I saw that, too. Quite simply, she's lost too much weight, and it shows in her face. She's still nice looking, but she's too thin now. Same goes for Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Connelly, Naomi Watts, etc. I think you are right about that, her face looks like she's been doing a lot of coke or something. Yea, she's still somewhat cute but compared to what she used to look like she's not even close. Being thin is OK and all but when it makes your face look all skinny then it hurts the cuteness. I like a full looking face kind of like Mandy Moore. When I see skinny faces and bones sticking out of the neck then it makes me think of someone who is doing a lot of blow. I seen so many beautiful ladies turn from pretty to not so pretty in a very short time from doing too much coke. It's sad. Mandy Moore, I love her full face. http://www.absolutely.net/Mandy_Moore/index.jpg

  6. QUOTE (Melll @ Jan 5 2006, 02:08 AM) My first live gig ever was Pink Floyd at London Arena, in 1989, simply jaw-droppingly good! Only matched by Rush's "Roll The Bones" tour I caught in 1992. I saw Foo Fighters recently (for the 6th time), their current show is amazing (lasers and everything!). They even teased a cover of YYZ. How's that?! Here's the pics I took with my phone. Sweet!!! I seen the Foo Fighters about 6 times myself. They never had lazers when I saw them though. It sucks I missed them this tour, that looks cool!! Nice Pics!!
  7. QUOTE (tick @ Jan 4 2006, 01:30 PM) well shes not on the list , so pick ! dont tell me you cant make a choice from whats there. lol

Probably influenced me a lot growing up. Is there anything I can say that won't disgust you to the point of eructation? I think she just has the flu or something. Apparently daveyt's condition is contageous. Note: one of the (24) puke smilies had to be removed due to this post's exceeding the board's emoticon limit. That's a lot of vomit!!!!

  10. I only like 4-5 recent sitcoms at the most....Lets see....I can watch these shows........ Will and Grace That 70's show Malcom in the middle Friends Seinfeld Everyone loves Ramen Hmmm, that's about it for me at this point. But hey what do I know, I still think Happy Days is probably the best show ever. Sometimes I think I am stuck in the 70s...but hey, the music was awesome then and we had shows like Gilligans Island, Happy Days, WKRP in Cincinnati, Mash, Hogans Heros, Green acres, Sanford & Son, Three's Company......Man, todays shows just don't compare In my opinion. The Music doesn't either, even with all the new updated recording equipment.
  11. QUOTE (rushgoober @ Jan 2 2006, 03:40 PM) I seem to remember Friends being a popular show. I guess none of them were Rush fans. I like Friends and I'm a Rush fan. Put Friends up against almost any other show and I would vote for it more than likely. A closer match would be Friends against That 70's show. You have to remember though, Seinfeld was voted the Best sitcom ever by many many people. I understand that Friends is really popular also but I haven't heard to many say "best ever" or anything like that. Very good show though.

That was the entire point of the series... to have main characters with little or no redeeming values. Taken to it's logical conclusion would lead you to Curb Your Enthusiasm on HBO. I don't have HBO but I have to check that show out sometimes, I heard so many good things about it. Is Larry David involved with this show also? I think he is half the brains of Seinfeld as far as the writing. I hope this comes out on DVD soon, then I will be able to see it. What is weird, I didn't watch Seinfeld until they quit taping the shows. In the 90's all I did was work and play music and never watched TV but now I watch a lot of TV so since like 1999 I have watched every episode of Seinfeld 50 times over. Most people was burned out on it by then but I was just getting started. Just think, if you never heard any Rush songs and someone just turned you on to Rush today and you got to listen to their songs for the first time. I'm sure I would love the songs but a lot times when I listen to Rush it takes me back to my younger years and it gives me this great feeling as I remember the days when Rush was just about all I listened to for a while. It's kind of like that. I envy the people who never seen Seinfeld and they can go buy the DVD's and watch them for the first time. That would be sooo cool!!!! I hope when the DVD's come out for "curb" I will enjoy it as much as everyone is now. It's nice having something like this in your back pocket because frankly, there's not that many funny shows on TV anymore. Seasons 1 through 4 of 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' are available on DVD. Here's the link at Barnes & Noble: 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Thanks, I'm there!!!!

Sweet!!! Something to look forward to.

  15. I'm not a big fan of relationship humor. Jennifer Anniston is freaking SWEET though, I liked when they made it extra cold on the set. Seinfeld, Hands down. I do like Friends though, it's funny sometimes but not "hillarious" if you know what I mean.
  16. QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Jan 1 2006, 12:20 PM) Gomer Pyle. Ross Perot. That would be funny as hell to see you do those 2.
  17. QUOTE (thestand @ Jan 1 2006, 05:02 PM) I went with Mad TV, but that's from a "right now" standpoint. If it was in the late 90's, when Ferrell was still on, or earlier with Sandler, Spade, Farley, and so on, I'd go with SNL, but SNL really hasn't had a strong cast in awhile. I think Tina Fey is one of the best writer's they've had, though. I agree, SNL used to be a lot better. One thing I like about Mad TV is the videos that they redo which make fun of bands, it's not live or anything but still very funny. They had one with creed and a few other bands that sound like Creed and Eddie Vedder and The Calling, they were making fun of how all the singers tried to sound like one another and they ended up fighting because they all claimed that the other guys sounded like them. Very funny video. Tina Fey She's VERY funny. Did you see the skit where Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were acting like the Bush twins and they had their own "twin language" that they made up. Hillarious skit. Here's the transcript Tina Fey skit
  18. QUOTE (Drumnut @ Jan 1 2006, 01:55 PM) Neither Never thought Mad TV was funny and SNL isn't funny anymore. Damn son!!!! You hate Seinfeld and you don't think Mad Tv or SNL is funny? Laughter is the best medicine!!! Please tell me you laugh sometimes!!! It's ok to laugh!!! You are depressing me son!!!!
  19. Just seeing if this jives with the Northern Hemisphere standard. 2 good shows but what I usually do is watch the first 1/2 hour of Mad TV then switch it over to SNL when it starts. If SNL is a repeat and I've seen it then I switch it back to Mad TV for the last 1/2 hour then back to SNL.
  20. QUOTE (Drumnut @ Jan 1 2006, 08:57 AM) I would have been better off if I just had not woke up this morning. http://fool.exler.ru/sm/mog.gif It's ok bro, things could be worse!!! Think positive and you will be loving life again in no time!!!! Hey, is that Vette still running like a charm? Sometimes it helps to just take a long ride out in the country and it gives ya time to think and you will realize that life is good!!! Good luck bro, we all have our bad days, I'm sure it will pass soon. Life is too short to stay down for very long. Look at the bright side though, our Steelers made it to the playoffs yet one more time!!! See you next week, gonna be a good one!!!! YEEEEEHAWWWWW!!!!!
  21. "The Blues Brothers" has to be one of the best for me.
  22. QUOTE (pedro2112 @ Dec 31 2005, 11:55 AM) QUOTE (thestand @ Dec 31 2005, 09:23 AM) Ouch, Seinfeld is pulling away! As it should be. As tick has indicated, 70's isn't even in the same class as Seinfeld. Don't get me wrong, 70s is funny.. but comparing 70's to Sienfeld is like comparing Happy Days to M.A.S.H. I love both shows but I do have to agree with you on this. That 70's show was excellent the first couple years but it's like the writers ran out of funny stuff to write about. Seinfeld seemed to get better and better with age. The writers were brilliant and if ya think about it, the 5 stars in this show was only part of it, people came in and hit home runs time after time. I was surprized at first when that 70's show was in the lead but I figured Seinfeld would pull ahead sooner or later. I'd like to see a comparison between how many DVD's were sold in the last couple years between these 2 shows. I bet Seinfeld sold 2-3 times more, maybe more than that. I wonder if there's somewhere that tells the DVD sales?
  23. F.U.B.A.R is still a good one.
  24. QUOTE (GhostGirl @ Dec 31 2005, 06:22 AM) QUOTE (Indica @ Dec 29 2005, 03:25 PM) Kramer: Say you got a big job interview, and you're a little nervous. Well throw back a couple shots of Hennigans and you'll be as loose as a goose and ready to roll in no time. And because it's odorless, why, it will be our little secret. "H---E---double N--I...." Ahahahaha ya, I forgot about that cheer he did. I love it when I can read a line I've heard a couple hundred times and laugh out loud again. ahahahah I love this show. TY GG
