  1. WOW ! A truly great show. Rush rocked NJ on Saturday night. .....Talk about going out on top !
  2. Early Queen was very, very good - They were a great live band ! Many of their songs are slightly different when performed live vs studio albums,...(Not that this is unheard of) but during the early tours Mercury would spend far more time at the grand piano adding depth and tempo - such as in White Queen as mentioned above. I was fortunate to see them 7 X with the original lineup between 1976-1982. (which is a lot for a US fan). I also saw 3 show w/Paul Rogers on vocals and also 3X with Adam Lambert on vocals recently.
  3. They never seem to be able to get a warm up band and their show is way too long.!
  4. QUOTE (Alexmai @ Oct 26 2012, 06:24 AM) I read about multiple nights at RCMH (and 30 new US dates) online SOURCE ?
  5. One more thing...this isn't a knock on Rush but on the Boston Garden itself. They always seem to limit the special effects that the band uses - specifically the pyro. There usually are huge flames fired off during Caravan - (in a World lit only by Fire) and later on in the show as well. They were obviously not allowed in the Garden as only steam was allowed as a substitute for the flames -which generate enough heat that you can feel them at least 25 rows back ! They were also not allowed on the Time Machine tour during the song Witch Hunt. I think Boston needs to get a new Fire Marshall !
  6. Great Show. My 4th and final for this tour. (Manchster, Bridgeport, Newark, Boston). Loved the show....Classic thru and thru. Enjoyed Seven Cities replacing Wish Them Well. They seem stronger every show if that is even possible. The one thing I didn't get was the fan in the row in front of me sporting a Garfield Cat hand puppet ! ? Neil sent a roadie out to him with two drumsticks during the 1st set. I don't get the reference ...if there even is one ? We caught a tee shirt thrown by Alex...creepy ugly guy on front with "my car goes fast" on the back. Maybe a second US leg to be added next year ???
  7. QUOTE (vital signz @ Sep 12 2012, 01:16 PM)God I can't believe they are dropping 7COG for WTW on B set nights. I would far prefer it to WTW... I want to see all three but I would gladly take Carnies and 7COG over WTW. I am polling to see which two songs are more liked. I'm confused by your post - Seven Cities was NOT played on the A list (Manchester 9/7)
  8. QUOTE (shail @ Sep 12 2012, 03:46 PM)if the venue is pretty full by 7:30 they start on the money Have never really ever seen that happen...
  9. In Manchester they started the show approx 7:45pm and finished the encore at 10:45
  10. QUOTE (LotusLand @ Sep 8 2012, 12:00 AM)A pathetic setlist for this band. It is lazy. 1/2 of these songs could be replace and NO ONE would care. Terrtories, Red Sector A, Bravado, Force 10, Big Money, The Garden (beautiful song but not for a concert), Halo Effect all should be gone. whatever
  11. Tonight totally rocked. Three hours of Rush... How does it get any better? Great show, great lights, great set!
  12. I've always believed that a good deal of thought and preparation go into their setlists. I expect to be totally entertained tonight...and I most likey will NOT be disappointed.
