  1. Messed that one up- what I meant to say was that it's time to put Slayer to bed once and for all. That fat piece of shit KK has become the new Gene and Paul.
  2. If they didn´t reach an agreement with Lombardo, that´s the next best thing for Slayer. Who cares.
  3. He always overthinks and analyzes shit too much!
  4. He's just a prick- plain and simple. I was a little annoyed at the crowd and their Kerry King chant too. Did Tom show up? Right. It gets really annoying with the crowd sometimes but I guess it's to be expected. I really wanted Tom and Dave to say a few words instead of him, but from what I've read and seen, nothing. That was a bit of a letdown, I guess they had their reasons. I just found it a little disrespectful- it should've been about Jeff and instead we get the dumb Kerry fukkin king chant! To me Jeff WAS Slayer, he wrote all their best songs and was the far better guitarist. He didn't do many interviews, but all the ones I've seen he comes across as just a laid back cool guy. Not a dick like you know who. I hear ya. It was a fairly lame affair overall and Jeff really deserved more respect, considering how much worth he gave to the that band (and the genre). And wtf was King's last comment about about "sounding like Tom" all about? Maybe I'm not hearing it right but it didn't sound cool to my ears Yea, he definitely said something with Tom. I couldn't make out what it was either. Well, the last few interviews before Jeff died all I heard was Kerry praising Gary Holt's playing- now I guess he'll be a permanent member. First Dave gets the boot and now Jeff- Slayer is dead!!!! The saddest thing is there was at least some more of Jeff coming through on the last album and it was hoped there would be a continuation to the next. Who really wanted just another KK dominated Slayer album, it's the same shit over and over. There was a hope that they could get some more of the oldschool Slayer back with the right producer. That's what's really sad about what happened with Jeff. I don't know why Tom would even think about carrying on now under the Slayer name, it just needs to finally rest. justYea, World Painted Blood did show some promise after the disappointment of Christ Illusion. As much as I like Tom I feel that he's just Kerry's puppet at this point.

  8. hate to be the downer, but Kyuss always seemed overrated to me. I like them, just don't think they're as great as others think. Fu Manchu is better imo.
  9. Can he just once not wear his stupid fukking glasses? I don't know, I still say he doesn't seem too bothered.
  10. it's my favorite album since Bruce and Adrian came back.Gets a lot of hate, but I think it's fantastic! Is that right? I thought it was a fave! What do you think of TFF? TFF took a few listens to grow on me. I love it now, but it took a little while. Miles above DOD.
  11. Saw them open for AC/DC on the Black Ice tour- they were ok. Nothing great but I've heard much worse.

  13. Excellent pick! The first four albums are amazing and John never gets any credit. The reason John Christ doesn't get any credit is because Glen Danzig wrote everything on the first four albums. Yes, John did a great job with bringing the music to life but it's hard to get credit of any kind when you don't write the material you perform. Glenn wrote everything for all his bands. To me it doesn't matter that John didn't write- all those leads are his and he deserves some credit. I think it's selling everyone else in the band short to not give them credit. I know Glenn acts like he came up with every little part, and I love him, but the guy's full of shit. There's a reason those first four albums are miles ahead of the rest. Absolutely! The original lineup had a great chemistry and those records show it. Deth Red Sabaoth does come close though imo.

  15. Excellent pick! The first four albums are amazing and John never gets any credit. Excellent riffs and really tasteful solos, the guy was awesome. Also glad you said first four. I know people who think 4 sucks, but it's my second favorite after III and a big reason for that is John's playing on that album. I always thought 4 was awesome. Lucifuge will always be my fave, but 4 might be the best imo. While we're at it, Chuck Biscuits is vastlty underrated too.
  16. Geordie Walker from Killing Joke King Buzzo from The Melvins Fast Eddie Clarke Robert Smith from The Cure Piggy from Voivod- RIP Matt Pike from Sleep/High On Fire Wata from Boris Victor Griffin from Pentagram Malcolm Young Captain Sensible from The Damned Rick Nielsen Andy La Roque from King Diamond Michael Denner and Hank Sherman from Mercyful Fate Tim Sult from Clutch Joe Young from ANTiSEEN
  17. Excellent pick! The first four albums are amazing and John never gets any credit.
  18. Poison Ivy from The Cramps- underated and hot as hell too!
  19. Greg Ginn is criminally underrated. I'm nominating East Bay Ray from the DK's. Even though he screwed over Jello, the man is a good guitarist.
  20. Wow, that Greg Ginn comparison is spot on. Side 2 of My War had to be an influence to Dave. Love his "solos" too- complete abuse of the wah!
  21. The Obsessed is more accesiible than Vitus I think. It's blasphemy round here, but Chandler is better than Iommi imo.
  22. Beat me to it! Another one that only we prob know-WINO!
  23. Here's the video for Vincent Price, which might offend some Catholics: The dancing nun was the best part!
  24. Meh, after Hillel Slovak died they became a different band that I didn't really like. Mother's Milk was ok and Blood, Sugar was pretty good too, but everything after that is just boring and lame to me.
