  5. QUOTE (Tigershark2112 @ Apr 13 2010, 09:55 PM) Would anyone mind telling how much (on average) they spent per ticket? Columbus isn't on sale yet and I was trying to come up with an estimate so I can tell my friends how much moolah to give me in advance. I can't afford 4 tickets on my own! I paid 90 a seat for ABQ, they want 120 per seat at Red Rocks <
  6. ABQ NM, row 19.. Wish I had look an hour before, oh wish I had been home... Was row 17 for S&A so this is fine..

  9. QUOTE (tick @ Apr 10 2010, 07:20 AM) QUOTE (Pags @ Apr 10 2010, 07:53 AM) I wonder if Presto, the album, with receive the same consideration it did for the R30 tour. I feel Presto is the most underrated Rush album ever. It has held well, and sounds great in 2010. I agree...
  10. QUOTE (trenken @ Apr 10 2010, 06:56 AM) Too bad theyve played every song on this album except 2 in their last 3 tours. Ain't no thing. Tull has played the same songs at the tours for 10 years..
  11. Red Rock will sell out, always does... RR is up in Morrison, from down town Den at I-25 and I-70 it is only 17 miles...
  12. QUOTE (Mara @ Apr 9 2010, 07:49 AM) QUOTE (metaldad @ Apr 9 2010, 09:47 AM) QUOTE (TullSkull @ Apr 9 2010, 08:44 AM) QUOTE (metaldad @ Apr 9 2010, 07:43 AM) Scalpers suck . Don't do it Why is it they can do it yet we would go to jail.? WTF?? In New York they made it legal so you won't go to jail. That being said they charge more now than they did before . They should die, really Really? It's legal to sell them above face value? That is BS

  15. QUOTE (Mara @ Apr 8 2010, 05:11 PM) QUOTE (Kozmo4Rush @ Apr 8 2010, 07:09 PM) No defined rows or seats? They don't even know what tickets they have yet. From what I can tell, they are season ticket brokers. You are only locking in a section. Overall, its a bad buy. Don't buy it! Wait it out!! Don't worry - I figured that out! They don't have any more tickets than the rest of us do right now. I'll probably take the day off work when tix go on sale and try my luck with TicketBastard. Sigh. TicketBastered is what I always use, last show I got row 15..
  16. QUOTE (Mara @ Apr 9 2010, 06:53 AM)QUOTE (trenken @ Apr 9 2010, 08:50 AM) QUOTE (Mara @ Apr 9 2010, 07:44 AM) QUOTE (trenken @ Apr 9 2010, 08:39 AM) At their age there is no way this will be their greatest tour ever, especially with the quality of geddy's voice which is pretty damn awful. Ive been to every tour since Permanent Waves and none of the tours over the last 10-15 years compare to those early 80s shows. Not even really close at all. So if Geddy's voice is "pretty damn awful", are you going to bother to go? What are you nuts? Of course! I dont think the guy sounds great live but who the hell cares about that when you're there having a good time? Im just saying quality wise, how can these guys be as good at nearly 60 as they were in their mid 20s? Geddy only plays the bass with 1 finger now, he used to play with 3 but he has tendon problems in his plucking hand. Rarely is anyone as good at 60 as they were at 20, true. Sad fact of aging. Hell, I'm 42 and I can relate. For this reason, sad as it is, I kind of hope this is the last hurrah for them (after 2011 tour), by their choice. I don't want to see them become a sad parody of themselves like some acts who don't know when to quit (ahemDavidLeeRothahem). Tull... Oh did I say that ? Hell all he has done in 10 years is tour with the same sit list damn near and no new and a voice that is very weak. Has to sing song that he can, and Geddy needs to do the same. Ian is 63 now Geddy is only 56, my age.. ROCK ON Geddy!!!
  17. QUOTE (mankad89 @ Apr 9 2010, 02:12 AM) Not really. I'm scared to think what Geddy's voice is like at this point. You think Geddy is bad with the voice, go hear Ian..
  18. QUOTE (Rushchick10 @ Apr 8 2010, 05:48 PM)QUOTE (Apollo @ Apr 8 2010, 02:26 PM) I'm glad they're still playing the USANA in Salt Lake City as it is a great outdoor place for a show, have seen them the last two tours there. I'm surprised Portland got left out on this tour but Salt Lake is an hour closer to drive to than Portland anyway from here in Boise, where I'm sure they won't be playing anytime soon. Apollo! I'm in Twin Falls! I'll be hitting the USANA as well, and possibly Seattle and Vegas! I'm also fighting back the urge to drive to Albuquerque for the opening night! Nice to see another Idaho Rush fan! To Idaho.. Still winter there where I like to go.. Nice to see a good report on USANA, I'v never been there and is about 7 hrs out. ABQ is just 3 hrs and I'm for sure there..
  19. QUOTE (syd11 @ Apr 8 2010, 01:01 PM) QUOTE (Bukaloo @ Apr 8 2010, 01:59 PM) QUOTE (snowdog2112 @ Apr 8 2010, 01:37 PM) Jeez, there's no way for me to say this without sounding like a jackass which I don't mean to be but...uh.. you were actually concerned that the whole tour might consist of 7 songs? Not to worry! There'll be more where those came from! Indeed I was! I knew the band was getting old, but I was hoping they weren't at the point where 7 songs would be considered a show! You'll remember in the interview Geddy said we play like 3 hr show.. A 3 Hour Tour
  20. QUOTE (nobodys hero @ Apr 8 2010, 08:55 AM) QUOTE (TullSkull @ Apr 8 2010, 07:49 AM) I like to see a set list before hand.... and I really like to know the dates... +1. There is always someone who will text in real time from the first show letting you know the set list. Now that is a SPOILER! I guess I have to that then as I am going to the Kick Off!!!

It is an easy cash in for them though. weak. MP in its entirety is weak?! Huh?! What?!! I mean,...what?!!! Would you rather have them play Rivendell, Anagram for Mongo, Dog Years, and You Bet Your Life and probably NOT make not as much dough? MP has always been well represented in the set lists since its release. I guess I am getting old but when I heard "time machine" I was hoping for some really old tunes. Don't assume that Time Machine means Moving Pictures. I think many will be shocked by the predominance of "classics" this tour. I'd bet we also get Xanadu, Jacob's Ladder, Natural Science, La Villa, etc. No assumptions being made about MP - it's announced on Rush.com! I meant don't assume Time Machine only refers to Moving Pictures. It wouldn't be that great of a time machine if it only traveled to one particular year! PRECISELY. With the title of the tour being Time Machine, theres no way it only refers to MP. Further, with the exception of one, maybe 2 songs, MP is largely made up of huge hits, not old gems. There are going to be some sweet surprises for sure. Agree >> There are going to be some sweet surprises for sure.
  22. 2011 will be the big tour....

  24. QUOTE (nobodys hero @ Apr 8 2010, 08:43 AM) QUOTE (TullSkull @ Apr 8 2010, 07:34 AM) QUOTE (nobodys hero @ Apr 8 2010, 08:20 AM) Does anybody know how many hours the drive from Denver to Albuquerque is? Road trip(s)! Now I need to find a roomie! Right down I-25 for like 7 hrs may be a bit less, it is 455 miles.. I'll be in ABQ.. Thanks! The drive's not bad at all. So wish they would do a 2nd date at Red Rocks, the peeps on the coasts are lucky because there are so many venues they can get too easily. I'm in for Red Rocks too, Live in Durango so ABQ and Den are close..
