  1. QUOTE (lerxt1990 @ Sep 7 2012, 10:25 PM) Big Money Force 10 Grand designs Body Electric Bravado For me (I'm old and have seen them since MP tour) these are uninspiring choices. Bravado especially.. Ive read how Neil loves the song in his book(s).. but really.. its been *so* played. I applaud the attention to the 80s, but these 5 I would have replaced with other choices. Of course there's no accounting for taste, and others may love these songs, or never heard them live... Grand Designs, Body Electric, Big Money, along with Manhattan Project and Analog Kid, easily give me the biggest boner of the night.
  2. Great setlist. Permanent Waves thru Power Windows is their best period, so this is awesome.
  3. I'm gonna have to check out this tour. I thought the Time Machine setlist was mostly shit, but this one delivers the goods.
  4. I have no idea what the real story is, so I will not make a judgment either way regarding Rush or The Runaways. However, I think that a band bagging on, or publicly laughing at, another band is really lame, regardless of how bad they think they are. Anyone who does this, Rush or otherwise, are being dicks. All bands were likely pretty shitty until they figured out what they were doing.
  5. Want: Afterimage Open Secrets Kid Gloves Chemistry Middletown Dreams Heresy Cold Fire Jacob's Ladder Countdown Do Not Want: Roll The Bones Stick It Out Show Don't Tell Anything from T4E Anything from Vapor Trails Anything from Rush Anything from Presto Between Sun & Moon/Alien Shore/Speed Of Love
  6. Meh, I'd rather have Signals, Grace Under Pressure, or Power Windows front-to-back. The new one doesn't do much for me.
  7. QUOTE (presto123 @ Jun 4 2012, 05:25 PM) Who voted SnA? Give me a break. If someone thinks Snakes And Arrows is better than Clockwork Angels, then that is the correct vote, is it not?
  8. Vapor Trails, in that it seems like they are purposely trying to be harder and heavier, but with a lack of melody to go along with it.
  9. It isn't the lack of older material that disappoints me, it is the lack of different and rarely-played material. Much of the setlist has the "same old shit" feel to it. The setlist is filled with stuff that has been played over the last 2 or 3 tours. As for the rarer stuff, they could have come up with something better than Presto, Stick It Out, and Time Stand Still. Marathon, Faithless, and Camera Eye are really the only things in the set that are giving me a boner.
  10. Ugh. There are really only 4 songs on there that get me excited. S&A tour was much better. Well, the first leg was, when they played some deeper cuts. By the second time through, they replaced the good stuff with the same old shit. Glad I didn't commit by buying tickets.
