    Se7en

Se7en was the only movie I've ever seen that caused me a bad dream.
  3. Oldsmobile 442. Looks like a '66. Here's one that was popular back in the day, but none seem to exist anymore... http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll89/msmith8234/Mikeys%20Auto-X%20Cars/r0100014.jpg
  4. The Amphicar! Haven't seen one since I was a kid! Here's a rare one, only a few made... http://i701.photobucket.com/albums/ww13/sojournervtg/bricklin/Picture104.jpg
  5. Yup. One of the early ones. Not as glamourous as the the '70. Your turn!
  6. QUOTE (Alex @ Feb 3 2010, 10:39 PM) QUOTE (ILSnwdog @ Feb 3 2010, 09:09 PM) Here's another classic from the 50's http://www.rmauctions.com/images/cars/ds09/DS09_r037_01.jpg Bel Air? Edit: Hmmm, looks a bit too big for that actually... I don't know. That is either a '55 or '56 Packard. The alst of the big ones before they started using Studebaker parts. Try this... http://i712.photobucket.com/albums/ww126/Hal_01/CIMG8839.jpg
  7. ...Is it a Renault Alpine? I haven't seen anything like that since my subscription to Road&Track magazine in the '70's.
  8. DeTomaso Pantera. Looks like one from the '80's. Try this one... http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh150/tadeh3/1970_AMC_The_Machine_2-door_muscle_.jpg
  9. Dude... What is it with you and these polls? You're like a rock encyclopedia at 100 mph! I bet you're a character to hang out and talk to after a pint or two. ...Schon. I'm a big fan of '71-'78 Santana. I only own the first four Journey albums. That should tell you enough. Signed, SPACEMAN
  10. Hmmm... nice Queen-type sound to the guitars. Decent vocals, too, not too overblown for something this epic sounding. 7/10.
  11. NOBODY could throw a complete "wobbler" like Cleese. Jones was good at being really weird.
  12. QUOTE (MMCXII @ Jan 10 2010, 12:39 AM) QUOTE (ozzy85 @ Jan 9 2010, 11:24 PM) A Street Bob's a nice bike... it doesn't suffer Death By Overchrome a lot of Harleys do. I have an '04 883. I thought about riding today also. It was a freakishly warm day today at 61 degrees. the most chrome my bike has are the pipes and they`ll be replaced with flat black vance and hines in spring Ahhh... the stealth look. Pretty OK in my book. Enjoy your bike.
  13. It might be interesting to put Tony Iommi, Josh Homme, and Buzz Osbourne in the same room and see what happens...

That was my concern too. If he's back on form then great news, but a lot of the credit for Soundgardens uniqueness goes to Cornells singing, so if he's not at the top of his game then that will take the shine off it.... His voice has sounded awesome in everything he's done the past decade since Soundgarden broke up. Here is the most recent video of him at the Pearl Jam show where all 4 Soundgarden members attended and Chris Cornell joined the band on stage for a Temple of the Dog reunion: (2:30-2:50 if there are any doubts) Nice! If they make another album, I doubt Cornell will sing the same way he did back in the Louder Than Love days... hey, he was in his 20's then. Really, though, this is great news. first AIC comes back with an excellent, excellent album, so hearing about Soundgarden gives me even more hope for a good year in music. I thought Soundgarden was a band whose albums kept on getting progressively better with each release. Saw them at Memorial Stadium in '94 with Reverend Horton Heat and the Screaming Trees. Fantastic show.
  17. QUOTE (Xanadoood @ Dec 14 2009, 09:06 AM) QUOTE (Rush Cocky @ Dec 14 2009, 07:53 AM) All I want to know is where do you guys get the time to listen to all this obscure music. Oh yeah, and how are you hearing of all of these obscure bands in the first place? That is all. Just hanging out with other huge music fans, you pick up on a lot of obscure stuff. I'd say my excuse is because I live in a college town. The record/cd shops here are awesome. Some of them have a turntable or cd player so you can listen to the used stuff. Plus, I spend time reading music mags, album reviews, etc. This is a major hobby of mine.
  18. One of those bands from the Stoner Rock genre (what a bad label) I've always meant to check out further. As well as Atomic Bitchwax. Any recommendations for an album to start with?
  19. Fantastic band. If I were old enough to be in the know about music back then, I would have ahad a heyday with all the heavy/hard rock/metal bands from the beginning of the '70's. This is one of them. Squawk rocks!
  20. Smart musically, smart lyrically, they don't stop growing and learning. They don't retread the same path over and over. And yes, avoiding the "rock star" attitude. I got soooo tired of bands with thier binge and purge lifestyles.
  21. I've just barely heard of them. The review I read said it mostly sounded like Queens Of The Stone Age, like it was a bad thing. I'm a big fan of QOTSA (or anything Josh Homme, for that matter), so I may really like this.
  22. QUOTE (Drumnut @ Nov 9 2009, 01:06 AM) They're just the rest of the band that tours with Tommy Aldridge. Funny. I just checked out that site. Seems like he doesn't even want to mention his stint with Black Oak Arkansas by name in his bio. Shame. I like Black Oak...
