  1. OK then... speaking of the '50's... I rode in one of these as a kid. Same colors, just reversed. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v316/TimV69/Goodwood/2007_Historic_Revival/carpark/IMG_0538.jpg
  2. The Dude Abides... takin' 'er easy for all us sinners. I abide also. An ordained Dudeist Preist. dudeism.com Good night and enjoy an oat soda.
  3. That's gotta be a '58 Packard. Made with Studebaker parts. Wanna see something sad? Compare this Packard with the one at the beginning of this thread. Only three years difference... long ways to fall.
  4. Try this one...http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w67/DT466/Pb210012.jpg
  5. 1973 (or '74) Dodge Charger SE.
  6. Just one word... MITCHELL! Sorry, couldn't find a good pic.

I think the man in that photo looks greasy.. What's worse is when old men have long gray hair or when guys with thinning hair on top try to grow the rest long to compensate. Dude, you are still balding on top. We notice this. ETA: And our treeduck has a head of hair that makes the guy in the picture look like a novice. I love Duckys hair! Looks great on him! Thanks Donna... I'd like to see a picture please I need to see this hair! You want to see a picture of my hair?? Webcam quality do? http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/2999/picture13vf.jpg Good lord! Beat me by a country mile with my hair at it longest! That effin' rocks! ...Long gray hair?... Yeah, I'm gonna be one of those guys.
  8. QUOTE (LakesideMaiden @ Mar 19 2010, 12:51 AM) QUOTE (Rolinda Bonz @ Mar 18 2010, 09:13 PM) what are mom jeans? mom jeans are ridiculously high-waisted jeans that taper down to the ankle - no shape and they make your butt look ginormous.... This is the best image I could find for an example: http://notenoughenvy.files.wordpress.com/2009/03/momjeans1.jpg It's a screen cap from an SNL skit lol That was supposed to be the sexy look when I was in high school... ugh. Jeans like that only work on skinny girls with no butt, if ever. Maybe it's regional, but I like girls in bootcut jeans (Northwest, its rainy, so... boots) I like my wife in Levi's bootcut jeans. Just a guy's opinion.
  9. QUOTE (Janie @ Mar 23 2010, 11:13 AM) Well if I woke up with hair like on my head and sprouted a penis overnight, I would get some buddies together and play in a Whitesnake cover band. Funny! I have thought of puting together a Black sabbath cover band though...
  10. QUOTE (workingcinderellaman @ Mar 23 2010, 09:42 AM) I don't think it would work very well for my business. But it would be fun to take a week off and go on a bike trip like that. Hair like that you'd want to ponytail or braid when biking, or you'll never be able to brush it out. Complimentary dreads. Trust me on this one...
  11. My hair never *quite* gets that long, but I've had long hair since I grew out my mullet in '90. My hair is wavy, so I never liked having to get it cut all the time. ...And 1970 Geezer Butler was an influence.
  12. QUOTE (nobodys hero @ Apr 2 2009, 07:25 PM) It was an unusual ending. Goes with the title of the show though, they are on Mars. ...True. I didn't think of that. Well, I got the DVD set and just finished watching it. Awesome show. Even the ending sat a little better with me the second time around. Still seemed cut a bit short, though. One season is just enough to where I get to know the characters and really begin to know and like them. Too bad the execs are too hasty these days on pulling the plug on a show if the ratings drop for a couple of weeks. It makes me curious about something... do you think any more shows were taped, or they simple shortened the storyline and pulled the plug after 17 episodes? If so... maybe they'll show up sometime in the future on a DVD? I bet this show goes on to be a cult classic.
  13. I think Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson are among the best comedic teams ever... The Young Ones Dangerous Brothers Bottom Mr. Bean Black Adder
  14. A wild guess... a TVR? It looks British.
  15. If you have the Heavy Metal soundtrack, it's on there. Grand Funk reunited and put out an album in 1981. Queen Bee was taken from that album.
  16. Wow, I can't even guess the country of origin on that one.
  17. QUOTE (RUSHHEAD666 @ Mar 10 2010, 06:32 PM) QUOTE (Earthshine @ Mar 9 2010, 11:39 PM) The Locomotion and Some Kind Of Wonderful are pure pop puke! Bring on: Time Machine In Need Into The Sun T.N.U.C. Aimless Lady I Don't Have To Sing The Blues No More Closer To Home (I'm Your Captain) Footstompin' Music Rock 'n' Roll Soul Black Licorice The Railroad Walk Like A Man Now, we're talkin'! That's a good list. I'll add Queen Bee and Sin is a Good Man's Brother right off the top of my head. Monster Magnet does an excellent cover of this tune.
  18. Dodge Conquest? I had to look again to try to see that little badge on the nose.
  19. Believe it or not, this car was considered groundbreaking for an American car when it came out. It's front-wheel drive... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v30/cruisebrothers/Spot/Oldsmobile_Toronado_75.jpg

  21. QUOTE (hunter @ Mar 8 2010, 09:56 PM) You don't make it easy do you. 1965 Saab 96? Damn, dude! You're good!
  22. Brewer in a drum magazine? That'll be the day... I honestly think Grand Funk was the least respected hard rock band of its day. Critics probably hated them even worse the Black Sabbath and Led Zepplin combined. My two guesses as to why: They weren't British. They were from Flint, Michigan (where Buicks were made), so they didn't even have the good grace to be a California or New York band. They sold MILLIONS of records. And as we all know, anything that sells that much can't really be good. It's too commercial. I love them. I think I have most of their albums from '69-'81. Mel Schacher is one of my favorite bass players. I've spent hours learning to play bass by listening to their records. Walk Like A Man...
  23. OK... Saw one of these wacko mobiles on the road yesterday. http://i710.photobucket.com/albums/ww102/surfblue63/Rally%20of%20the%20Tests%202009/2009_10300036.jpg
