  1. Anyone making these sorts of revelations, or asking these kinds of questions, on an internet site is off my list. (Completely aside from the fact that I'm married). I never, ever considered internet dating sites when I was single, nor would I do so if I were to find that to be the case again. Just my personal choice, not a judgment on anyone who does date on the web. Based on looks alone, for a roll in the hay??? No.

  3. QUOTE (yes.2 @ May 5 2008, 02:33 PM) QUOTE (the masked drummer @ May 5 2008, 02:19 PM) Have you shown your love for Mr Peart today, ladies?? Please go easy on him. One Neil, so many Ladies of TRF... HAHAHAHA! That's to funny! HAHAHA! Most unfortunate, that there's only one of him.!

  5. QUOTE (King Rygar @ May 3 2008, 01:11 PM) You know, I was thinking about all this the other day, and I totally undertand how it can get weary for Mr. Peart. I got what I considered my "dream job" early this year. I was euphoric! The first two months that euphoric feeling stayed strong, but now, I am already starting to get weary of it sometimes. Sometimes I just would rather stay home and enjoy life there with my family. That is so much more important to me, nothing can ever really be more important than that, no matter how exciting, glorious, or glamorous something else might seem. That's why it's called 'work', as opposed to 'fun for pay'. I love my job, and my employers/coworkers are good people, but would I prefer to sleep late every morning and have free choice over what I want to do with my day? You bet!
  6. QUOTE (Drumnut @ May 3 2008, 01:27 AM) Vote for Neil Peart! Pass this link around! Done! Thanks for the link! If he doesn't make #1, something will be seriously amiss. . .
  7. QUOTE (Jaye @ May 2 2008, 07:57 PM) QUOTE (Marathonist @ May 3 2008, 12:07 AM)Hurts my feelings! I just started a thread in Grand Designs (I don't start many), and so far only 4 people have looked at it and no one's posted. What, that one I just replied to? Ooooh, goody! Thank you, thank you! Now I feel all loved again! Except. . .oops, I'm the last one in this thread now, aren't I???
  8. Hurts my feelings! I just started a thread in Grand Designs (I don't start many), and so far only 4 people have looked at it and no one's posted. Not that this is a shameless ploy to get everyone to post just to make me feel better! Now if I'm the last one to post here, and the thread drops off, I really will throw a self-pity party!
  9. I think it's sweet when my husband leaves his underwear on the floor in the foyer.

  11. QUOTE (edgyspice @ Apr 30 2008, 08:35 PM) QUOTE (Marathonist @ Apr 30 2008, 05:24 PM) QUOTE (edgyspice @ Apr 30 2008, 06:32 PM) You're welcome! Random, but does anyone know Neil's height? I'm curious. Going by photos I've seen, he seems pretty tall. 6' 4" I believe. One taaaalll drink of water. Guess who's thirsty? To quote Will Ferrell in Blades of Glory: "Ohhh, me likey!" My ex is 6'4", and a drummer. I'm so predictable. XD I've always gravitated towards tall guys. Which is funny, 'cause I'm 5'3", stretching. Never dated any drummers , but I did briefly date a guy who looks almost scarily like Neil, although I didn't make the connection at the time. Given my obsession with Pratt, I don't know why I didn't notice it. Guess it was a subconscious thing.

  13. QUOTE (edgyspice @ Apr 29 2008, 01:12 AM) 'sup? http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/6109/cap513ic1.png Also, I'm pretty sure I got this one from this same thread, but it's worth repeating if you ask me: http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/365/tasteneillolfd9.jpg whew. . .(wipes sweat from brow). Thanks, edgyspice! Love the first one. Those eyes of his (have always loved the one you chose for your av)! HUBBA!
  14. 'Click' I have several of their T-shirts too! My sister and I have a gift rule: every birthday/Christmas, at least one of our gift exchanges has to be something from the Animal Rescue Site store. Even if it's only a keychain. Been doing it for 3 years now.
  15. QUOTE (Rolinda Bonz @ Apr 27 2008, 10:47 AM) QUOTE (Jaye @ Apr 27 2008, 06:39 AM)Oklahoma City: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v250/Jett_Moonwing/Neil38.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v250/Jett_Moonwing/Neil37.jpg And what do we have here... Who needs 'Buns of Steel' when you can have 'Buns of Neil'? I know which one I'D choose!
  16. You have two dogs named Alex and Geddy. . .and plan to name the next puppy "Peart". (Not me, but a friend. Good idea, though. All good dog names. Come to think of it, so is "Lerxst"). Three dogs would be an overload in our townhouse!
  17. QUOTE (Jaye @ Apr 24 2008, 11:07 AM) Austin, last night Again, only a couple of Neil, sorry... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v250/Jett_Moonwing/Neil33.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v250/Jett_Moonwing/Neil34.jpg NEVER feel like you need to apologize for posting too few pics of Neil! The Neil-o-philes appreciate anything coming our way!
  18. QUOTE (mazyyz @ Apr 22 2008, 11:31 AM) QUOTE (WCFIELDS @ Apr 19 2008, 07:08 PM) It'd be cool to have a walk through it........... ...or to shit, shower, and shave in the Masterbath. That's about $2.5K for that bathtub alone. As long as we're there, might as well take advantage of the gourmet kitchen and George Foreman some burgers or something.
  19. QUOTE (Jaye @ Apr 21 2008, 02:19 PM) Not many of Neil today, sorry gals.. But these are in New Orleans: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v250/Jett_Moonwing/Neil30.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v250/Jett_Moonwing/Neil31.jpg Wow.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v250/Jett_Moonwing/Neil32.jpg Sweet! Thanks for keeping us updated, Jaye. Here's one I love. . .I know it's all 3 of them, and it's not a photo, but I , , this rendering. It's unbelievably lifelike, I think. http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm56/2dogsmom2008/drawing.jpg
  20. QUOTE (Fridge @ Apr 21 2008, 10:51 AM) QUOTE (Marathonist @ Apr 21 2008, 02:21 PM) Wonder if it's gotten back to Alex that TRF members are pounding on his (and Charlene's) taste in decor? I couldn't give a monkeys if it has (though I think it's unlikely) Just because I like their music doesn't mean i have to approve their taste in interior design I'm sure he's reeaally bothered about what I think though Yeah, don't you know this is the first place he'll send Charlene for advice on how to furnish and decorate their next home! Be funny if he did, though. The results would be worse than what's in the current home.
  21. QUOTE (Janie @ Apr 21 2008, 09:06 AM) QUOTE (Fridge @ Apr 20 2008, 03:59 PM) Here you go select Toronto and put in price of $5699000 http://www.chestnutpark.com/chestmasterfra...ropsearch&cat=0 Nice house, but overpriced, and their taste in decor is pretty poor indeed Ok, I did it, I peeked but I don't think that's his house... I mean, there's a crib in that one room... the one with the wicked cool zebra rug and purple chair. The article mentioned that the sons live there too, unless I misunderstood. I know Justin has at least one young child.
  22. QUOTE (Fridge @ Apr 21 2008, 01:47 AM) QUOTE (nettiesaur @ Apr 21 2008, 03:08 AM) Now, now, some of that would be Charlene's taste, wouldn't it? I thought the kitchen looked nice. Tasteful green curtains and all. Then again, maybe they've already moved and had some decorator put stuff in it for the open house, and borrowed the Juno awards for authenticiy..maybe. Sorry, but their taste is pretty awful. I'm not boasting, but my house is almost the same size (though it didn't cost anywhere near that amount!) and is an early victorian former manse. It looks like they have striven for a more period look but have got it completely wrong. The hallway, bathroom and kittchen are ok at a stretch, but the lounge areas are unforgiveable. I am a great fan of georgian and Victorian styles, but they are way off the beam here It all just comes across as tasteless and chintzy I'm afraid Wonder if it's gotten back to Alex that TRF members are pounding on his (and Charlene's) taste in decor? That purple chair in the lounge, on the b/w rug, looks well-worn. Must be comfy. And, this isn't the first time I've seen this type of thing - it's pretty common for those with high $$$ bathrooms - but I don't "get" the velvet-upholstered chair in there. What, do people actually plop their wet butts down on a velvet chair when they get out of the shower? And don't tell me it's a female thing - I AM female.
