  1. Yea, I saw this! I've got the Looney Tunes Golden Collection 4-disc box set, and there's a second 4-disc set now out there! These are great!! I can't imagine not having these! They're timeless, they don't need 'updating'... there's nothing to update... they're classics! I watch 'em with my daughter all the time. I can't wait to get that new second series set! And as interesting looking as the "redone" characters look, I say leave it be. But they won't. http://msnbcmedia.msn.com/j/msnbc/Components/Photos/050217/050217_loonatics_hmed.hlarge.jpg
  2. QUOTE (happysmiles007 @ Feb 19 2005, 08:40 PM)Colin's getting his own show.. Getting Along Famously it looks pretty good..& if i know Colin.. SM, the site won't load but..idk if it was that one, but i took a quiz one time that told me i was Colin!! Wow... I had no idea... thanks HS007! Unfortunately, it's in Canada only! I found this on it too: CBC has ordered 6 episodes to start. The show will not be shooting just yet - they'll only be making plans to shoot once they have everything officially in place, and that will not be til Mid-May. Now my only hope is green screen, and here's the latest on that... ...from executive producer Ron Diamond (just quoting the relevant parts): The WB is waiting to see how their season shapes up. If you follow the ratings, you'll see that things are tough over at the WB. Unfortunately, Drew Carey's Green Screen Show is not a big priority there right now. There is no word if or when they'll bring back the show. I may be in denial, but no one at the network had used the "C" word to me. So I remain optimistic that something could still happen. There's interest at Comedy Central in the show but I don't know the status of a deal and due to limited programming time slots, we're waiting to see if anything could come about for the springtime.
  3. OK Schro, now you reminded me of the Japanese action/drama serial... and I'm trying to think of it's name... he used to cross his arms and some kinda 'ray' shot out... silver suit I think... with an elongated silver helmet/headpiece... damn, what's it's name... THAT'S IT.... ULTRAMAN! http://members.aol.com/skarandy/cuteUltraman.jpghttp://www.melaman2.com/tvshows/logos/ultraman.jpg
  4. Well, I'm still stumped... I have not a clue... ... and I have no idea about this question either! Anybody else gonna hazzard a guess?
  5. Sarks' thead on Land of the Lost got me thinking about the HOURS of Saturday mornings I spent with a bowl (or three! or more!) of cereal in front of that T.V. set So, I was wondering, what shows do you remember watching. Not nessesarily your favorites either, just any shows that you might have watched. I'll start with a couple quickies off the top of my head... Looney Tunes (OF COURSE! But feel free to list 'em seperately too, if you want) H. R. Puff 'n Stuff The Banana Splits (I think is was called?) What else....?
  6. Oh yea I remember that one. We were just talking about that here at the house last week or so!
  7. Listen, lad. I've built this kingdom up from nothing. When I started here, all there was was swamp. All the kings said I was daft to build a castle in a swamp, but I built it all the same, just to show 'em. It sank into the swamp. So, I built a second one. That sank into the swamp. So I built a third one. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one stayed up. An' that's what your gonna get, lad -- the strongest castle in these islands. Now listen lad, in twenty minutes you're getting married to a girl whose father owns the biggest tracts of open land in Britain. But I don't want land. Listen, Alex,-- Herbert. Herbert. We live in a bloody swamp. We need all the land we can get. But I don't like her. ........
  8. QUOTE (launchpad67a @ Feb 16 2005, 10:18 PM) I love all those guys! Everyone should go buy Ron White's DVD "They call me tater salad". It's so funny! And his audio cd too, 'Ron White - Drunk In Public'

"Yeah? Well I've got a place to f*ck your sister." i was watching this with the family, & for some reason, i was the only one laughing I know the feeling... Me too!
  10. Sure hope it makes it in NYC so it'll MAYBE come out to the mid-west sometime in the future. I'd love to go see it!
  11. My daughter watches a ton of kids show that are made in Canada (they are some of the best out there!) but none of them have 'hosts' so I have no clue! The Wiggles are Aussie and the only ones I know of, or can think of at the moment, that are Canadian would be the Kratt brothers, so that's my very lame and certainly wrong guess... I'm gonna say Chris and Martin Kratt!
  12. Absolutely!! "It's not THAT the wind is blowin'... it's WHAT the wind is blowin'!! "I can run a 26 mile marathon..." "You're bleedin'!"
  13. Just ran across a review of the musical "Spamalot" with some pictures too... http://www.pythonland.com/ I noticed this too, Jack, the last item on the bottom of the page at the above link, they talk about the limited edition spam cans and they say they're gonna be available in limited quantities at "select NYC retailers and the Shubert Theatre."
  14. QUOTE (Alsgalpal @ Feb 13 2005, 10:32 PM) QUOTE (afansince74 @ Feb 9 2005, 08:33 PM) How you English say, I one more time-a unclog my nose in your direction, sons of a window-dresser! So, you think you could out-clever us French folk with your silly knees-bent running about advancing behavior! I wave my private parts at your aunties, you heaving lot of second-hand electric donkey bottom biters. Don't be a second hand donkey bottom biter! Yea, that's right... it takes a lot of hard work and dedication, but in time (and with the help of a good trainer), you too can be a 'first-rate' donkey bottom biter!
  15. Yea! I caught it late last night, HS007! It's blue collar weekend on CC... just finished watching Joe Dirt!

I wave my private parts at your aunties, you heaving lot of second-hand electric donkey bottom biters. In the name of the Lord, we demand entrance to this sacred castle! No chance, English bedwetting types. I burst my pimples at you and call your daughter an unrequested silly thing. You tiny-brained wipers of other people's bottoms!
  17. QUOTE (Sodoff Baldrick @ Feb 11 2005, 10:49 PM) Palin Chapman Jones LEFT HEAD : Terry Jones MIDDLE HEAD : Graham Chapman RIGHT HEAD : Michael Palin Have at it SB
  18. Hint #1 (a huge hint!): LEFT HEAD : ?played by 'Prince Hurbert'? MIDDLE HEAD : ?played by the 'main character'? RIGHT HEAD : ?played by the head Knight of Nee?
  19. I'm really looking forward to this one, ever since I saw the 1st trailer in the theater! Thanks Jack, as always!
