  1. QUOTE (Bangster of Goats @ Sep 15 2012, 10:24 PM) Oh good news, I hope that tweak sticks. I'm perhaps a little tired of TSOR, but I'm WAY tired of Working Man. (...is someone in the band reading this forum?* lol. I see on here a lot of retire-it-I'm-sick-of-it thrown at Working Man and a lot of people missing TSOR, and, viola, setlist tweak! ) *rhetorical question! SICK OF DREAMLINE SICK OF DREAMLINE SICK OF DREAMLINE PLAY MANHATTAN PROJECT PLAY MANHATTAN PROJECT PLAY MANHATTAN PROJECT
  2. QUOTE (fansince1979 @ Sep 13 2012, 01:06 AM) http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=420147 The link above to another tapers recording of Manchester is MUCH better sound quality than the recording in this thread, it has a lot more "in your face" sound, plus better high end and low end. It was just uploaded to dime today. Lots of positive comments in the thread, like this one.... "blackout at 2012-09-13 03:17:06 GMT Great recording! We've found the gem so far. Thank you very much for posting, I can't imagine anyone having a better version. Everything is nice, deep and clear." Any other method of getting that show? Not a big dimeadozen user.

But that doesn't mean your's doesn't mean anything. It's still a Rush boot Regardless of who else puts them out, keep going! It's all part of a greater collection of recordings! Thanks for your work, bud. I got the first CD and it sounds great!
  4. Agree 100%. Rush shows are awesome as hell but yeah too much volume can be a negative. I'm 23, I should be able to handle loudness, correct? Twice I've had to leave Rush concerts early due to pounding headaches and severe ear-ringing (which I still have...called tinnitis I believe), and the sound would be much clearer if the volume were lowered a tad. Edited to add that Hear-O's earplugs are your best friend at a Rush show. I started bringing them to shows toward the end of the Time Machine Tour and they'll be in my ears next weekend at the St. Louis show for sure.
  5. Closer to the Heart and Dreamline are really the only two that I can think to axe permanently. Within reason, of course. I know Tom Sawyer is a concert MUST, so it shall remain. Surprised to see Spirit of Radio got the noose though. Don't know why I forgot Working Man!
  6. Well now there was one commonly-played early 90's song being alternated with a rarely played 80's song...
  7. Watch it with Xanadu. They would only play 5 minutes of it.... Jacobs Ladder gets my vote
  8. QUOTE (Pause Rewind Replay @ Sep 12 2012, 04:58 AM) I'd start with the A set, toss the Garden, put in 7COG in its album slot after Halo Effect. I have a feeling The Garden's going to be one of my most favorite parts of the show. I've heard it like 600 times and it still gives me chills
  9. I was close to choosing Working Man, however, what makes Dreamline more upsetting for me is the fact that I'm seeing it as a replacement for the Manhattan Project
  10. GAHHHH if only they would drop Dreamline all together!!!!!
  11. Why did Rush wait until I only see one show on a tour to play alternating set lists!?!? Now I get to miss The Body Electric, Carnies (which I really looked forward to), AND have to sit through Dreamline AGAIN instead of Manhattan Project (also really f'n stoked about) "HERPA DERP let's switch out a rarity for one we played almost every tour since the 90's!" Oh but at least I get to hear Middletown Dreams. The only plus.
  12. Looks like St Louis will probably be setlist B...great...after I got all excited about Manhattan Project AND excited about not having to sit through Dreamline again
  13. QUOTE (DBJetsman @ Sep 7 2012, 11:14 PM) That's the most bulls*** setlist I've ever seen. 4 songs from PoW (ONE OF THERE WORST ALBUMS EVER) and not even the best one (Marathon)? 2 songs from Signals and Moving Pictures: REALLY??? They are complete dumbasses and will never ever be the greatest band ever... My dad now doesn't even want to go anyone because the setlist is a giant pile of s*** Come on, seriously?
  14. Why was everybody so hopeful about hearing Losing It? Did Alex say they were going to play it? If so, that should have been a dead giveaway
  15. QUOTE (Jaminbenb @ Sep 7 2012, 10:00 PM) QUOTE (pony2112 @ Sep 7 2012, 09:53 PM) I've seen them 42 times since the 2112 tour, so I like the set list. But, the casual fan will NOT like this tour. The lack of radio hits is totally shocking. That's what I liked. Not so many "hits" . Not horrible, just wish a few oddities would have made the cut.. it WOULD have been the perfect opportunity for Losing It, though.... I'm not so much a fan of the hits myself. What would have made the show 100% perfect would have been to take the hits and place them at the end of the first set. Then we get a second set of delicious awesome oddball Rush and the radio newbs can go home
  16. QUOTE (ReflectedLight @ Sep 7 2012, 09:57 PM) QUOTE (dayglow76 @ Sep 7 2012, 09:49 PM) Let the bitching pissing and moaning begin. one thing's for sure, i won't be attending this tour. That means we should all follow in this guy's footsteps and boycott RUSH! It's the latest trend! PHUK CLOCKWERK 80'S FAREWELL TO KINGS OR GTFO Nah Clockwork 80's is the shit and I can't friggen wait
  17. QUOTE (USB Connector @ Sep 7 2012, 09:56 PM) QUOTE (Khan @ Sep 7 2012, 10:54 PM) QUOTE (dayglow76 @ Sep 7 2012, 10:49 PM) Let the bitching pissing and moaning begin. That started a long time ago... Yep. It was an awesome set until Working Man. Fixed
  18. Did Limelight happen or did the show end on Spirit of Radio? I thought i saw someone say Limelight
  19. There's probably one more song left..who wants to bet it's Freewill or Closer to the Heart?
  20. QUOTE (theredtamasrule @ Sep 7 2012, 09:33 PM) Could there actually be a show without Freewill? That'd be a refreshing change!
  21. Well I was totally ridiculously excited up until Working Man... I wonder if there will be another pants-shitter afterward to make up for it
  22. THE GARDEN!!!! http://files.sharenator.com/me_gusta_RE_am_i_the_only_girl_who_uses_sharenator-s566x564-164968-535.png
  23. No, I think HE would be giving the Creed guitarist the lesson...
