I've looked at a couple of the other videos on youtube and don't see the same camera set up so it may not be for the set. I doubt VERY seriously a local news channel would install a remote controlled PTZ camera dolly for 10 seconds of video. It might be a for a third party documentary or a DVD. Unusual they would record this early in the tour. Althoug consider this show takes place as part of the bluesfest and perhaps another entity is recording the event from that perspective as well. Most likely I would guess.

I really dont get what's so important about them playing JL. Its a good song and all but what is the big deal. There's no major solo in it. Its a thematically boring song, zero to think about.

the guys stated in that Q107 interview they were taking a break during the tour and have been doing that for quite awhile actually. one week breaks after each month are common.

I don't know if his rig died and they had 'quick fix' something or if the whole tour was done that way, but it was there and it did happen. I have seen every show in South Florida since 82-83 Signals tour. Never has Geddy introduced anyone in the crew let alone someone playing keys other than he. Not meant to be rude but WTF are you talking about? What show? Never happened. Not saying the guy was not doing what you said...but Geddy never introduced anyone...even the band. I can stipulate that _pete_ knows his shit, and clearly I'm no dolt as I was the first one to state that Alex and Ged use triggering to play pre-recorded tracks. I've watched them do this for years and have been impressed with their skills. The amount of preproduction no small feat. You all can say whatever you want, it's all fine and good. I can tell you I've been a musician since I was in middle school and I know a few things too, and I know what I saw. I watched the guy for nearly two hours at the console. I know what he was doing. Say what you want. It won't hurt my feelings or change what I saw. I'm not dissing the band, I love this band, just stating what I saw.

He's hitting a trigger so when he steps away the effect keeps playing. He also can play simple note progressons with his foot pedals and frequently does this. It really takes a lot of talent and concentration to do this. Alex does this too with his effects pedals. Its better than when they had a guy at the sound board in the back of the hall playing keyboards, like they used to do.

+1 for WPB baby! There is no way they are not going to record this tour. Look at the cost of this stage and set! You can't let that go to waste for 40 dates.

I've seen other bands with shirts in the $25 range and some others in the $60 range (Spyro Gyro). I will NOT be buying a tour book because all the photos are from the last tour, which is asinine if you ask me. I know it would be impossible to sell pics from this in this tour's tour book, but I want pics from this tour.
