  1. I think Kiss is awesome. Just straight up, old fashioned rock and roll. Caught them at a show in 2010. I was on the lawn and got up when they came out. The people behind me were all sitting and yelling at me to sit down. Who sits at a Kiss concert? I also got to see Ace in November at the HOB in Atlantic City. I waited 7 hours in line to get up front. I got rewarded with a pic, and my Dad got a fist bump from Ace! That was such a great show. He really dug out some classic/obscure Kiss tunes and it was so surreal watching that caliber of guitar playing up close. My ears were ringing for a week after that!

Love Tool and Puscifer as well, but APC just speaks to me more. I really like Billy Howerdell's spacey guitar and Maynard....well Maynard is Maynard ;D I can't wait for more APC tunes. Some guy said Undertow and Aenima are incredible but not recent Tool? IMO, the last two albums are the best Lateralus, 10000 Days, Aenima, Undertow, Opiate. I can't really choose what album I like better for APC for their first two. Crazy talk is crazy. Lateralus is a masterpiece and 10k Days is pretty awesome as well. But my favorite Tool album goes to Aenima. The album is worth it for "Pushit" alone. And hey, have you heard the new APC song "By and Down"? They played it on their 2011 summer tour (which I saw....effin' AWESOME). Search youtube. There's only audience recordings at the moment. Still holding out for them to release a studio version. That's a tough decision. I lean toward 13th Step, but Mer De Noms is so killer. I guess it all depends on what mood I'm in. I got to see it in concert, yeah it was awesome. Awwww man. Wasn't it? The people around me were all complaining that they closed the show with it. I thought it was a perfect closer. Hey, just wondering. How was the crowd at the show you went to? (assuming it's general admission standing). For me, the crowd was pretty chill until The Noose. I was up front on the barricade on Billy's side (perfect view of Maynard actually because he was facing my way). But man, once The Noose came on, the crowd just lost it. Moshing, crowd surfing, pushing. Some girl got punched in the face. I had to get out of there. Moshing to The Noose? Really?

  4. Such an amazing album. I especially love in "Anthem" how Ged goes "wonders in the wur-wald.........THE WUR-WALD!"

  6. Yeah, it was definitely a good buy and really interesting DVD. And wat? If people want BTLS, then go watch it. It's already jam packed with extras
  7. Pretty cool man! I really like what you did with GUP. Gave it a trippy sunset feel to it

    Roll The Bones

Bravado and Ghost of a Chance are really strong tracks and two of my favorite Rush songs. Dreamline, Roll the Bones, and Heresy are pretty good as well. I could do without the rest~
  10. I actually found Caravan and BU2B to be two of the strongest songs they played on the TM tour. They played them so fiercely.
  11. It could just mean MAYbe it will come out....
  12. What is this "remove songs" and "shuffle" blasphemy you all are referring to? I buy CD's.....
  13. Damn straight! People don't realize how much dedication Rush has to it's live show and how spoiled we really are. Classic rock bands nowadays and even younger modern bands play short sets, with 2-3 opening bands on the bill. 13-16 songs. Can you imagine if Rush played a set that short? No seriously. Imagine it. DO IT.

    Any arguments here?

I'm surprised Matt Chamberlain isn't in the honorable mentions at least.

  16. I've read Ghost Rider and Roadshow. Both were filled with things so boring that if Rush wasn't my favorite band, I wouldn't read in a million years. However, both were also filled with things that I LOVE to read about such as behind the scenes tour info, describing certain songs, ect. I've tried twice to read Traveling Music and haven't been able to thus far.
  17. I think this is a great idea. As if I wasn't already hyped for this album
  18. Just some off the top of my head that aren't Rush..... The Rover - Led Zeppelin She - Kiss Rocket Ride - Ace Frehley Schism - Tool
  19. I saw her late one night on Carson Daly and I was like I really enjoy "Cosmic Love".

    RUSH Interview

As great as the interview was, it really annoyed me that Neil's troubles had to be brought into it. That's exactly why he doesn't do those kind of things and it was uncalled for
  21. QUOTE (the masked drummer @ Feb 3 2012, 08:27 AM) I always kinda felt Randy was the real deal. I've got respect for him now that I know he respects Geddy. For realz dawg
