  2. Was just trying to order a t-shirt and a key-chain...jeez...
  3. I've been trying to buy some stuff from the official Rush shopping site,,but it won't accept my payment! I've entered the correct info, and yes, I have enough in my account to cover it.
  4. Got some $$$ to spend, been going to the Rush "shop" website to buy t-shirts, programs, etc, but every time I put in my info I get a "sorry, your order cannot be processed" message! WTF is going on???
  5. QUOTE (EmotionDetector @ Jun 7 2012, 06:23 PM) QUOTE (CygXanTor @ Jun 7 2012, 06:29 PM) Now I get an error message when I try to email them! Wow! They really don't want my business! Neil doesn't like you. Guess not, but then, Neil doesn't like anybody!!!
  6. Now I get an error message when I try to email them! Wow! They really don't want my business!
  7. So I finally decided I wanted to buy some Rush stuff online, and I went to their home page, clicked on "shop", and proceeded to add a couple things to my "cart". After entering all my info, and clicking on "check-out" I get a message saying "payment did not go through", and when I re-try I get an "Error" message saying that the server is un-available...And yes, all my info is correct, and properly entered...WTF???
  8. Ya, I'm an asshole for not byeing into the same tired old rhetoric...whatever.
  9. QUOTE (Good, bad, andrush @ May 12 2011, 06:30 PM) QUOTE (CygXanTor @ May 12 2011, 06:28 PM) Haven't read the last 11 pages, but aren't they ALL 's "last" tour??? They all have been since G/P... :rolleye: Asshole I mean this thread is about assholes. Like I said, I haven't read the last 11 pages of this thread, and I don't care! All the "This is Rush's last tour/album bullshit is way beyond getting old, and has been since "Grace Under Pressure"...Enough already...
  10. Haven't read the last 11 pages, but aren't they ALL 's "last" tour??? They all have been since P/G...
  11. Also long time, no post...I was there too (sec.313 row 11 seat 19)! My last attempt was the July 7th show at the Charter One Pavillion, and we all know how that turned out! My boss and I drove 4 hours to Chicago, because they skipped Indianapolis both times around on this tour This was his 1st concert, and my 16th on 14 tours... Anyway, it was a great show! I noted several comments about how cool it was that they packed the United Center, anyone know how many where in attendance?
  12. QUOTE (rushgoober @ Feb 19 2011, 12:49 PM) QUOTE (ghostworks @ Feb 19 2011, 10:25 AM)QUOTE (CygXanTor @ Feb 19 2011, 10:13 AM)CP stopped being fun for me. There is a very cliquish, core group of "insiders" who relentlessly harass and insult certain individuals... you obviously haven't been back since 2008 or so - that kind of behavior is all but gone, Cyg QUOTE (CygXanTor @ Feb 19 2011, 10:13 AM)...threads often degenerate into really nasty, ugly flame wars. I don't see much of that here at TRF... oh there's plenty of that here the TRF Administration takes a much more 'hands on' approach in threads, so 'flame wars' tend to be much more petty and juvenile (the nasty and ugly is edited out) nonetheless, there's considerably more of that type of behavior here than at CP QUOTE (CygXanTor @ Feb 19 2011, 10:13 AM)...I don't see TRF priding itself on being a "Biker Bar" or a "Snake Pit", in other words, some sort of force to be reconned with... again, CP hasn't been a "Biker Bar" for over two years QUOTE (CygXanTor @ Feb 19 2011, 10:13 AM)TRF suits me just fine. well, based on this post, I'd have to agree with you since according to you CP has changed dramatically in a couple of years (i wouldn't know as i haven't really posted there in a long time), what about this post i made earlier. are my statements no longer accurate? QUOTE counterparts is great if you love threads that take 4 hours to read containing vicious insults, arguing, tons of in-jokes and completely random idiocy with about 10 minutes of those 4 hours being truly worthwhile. You are correct GW, I haven't been back there for about 2 years, so this is the first I've heard of a change of attitude at CP.
  13. CP stopped being fun for me. There is a very cliquish, core group of "insiders" who relentlessly harass and insult certain individuals. And I don't see TRF priding itself on being a "Biker Bar" or a "Snake Pit", in other words, some sort of force to be reconned with... Oooooooo..... TRF suits me just fine.
  14. QUOTE (glennb2112 @ Jan 28 2011, 02:34 PM) i feel your pain..i guess. They havent come close to Memphis in over 15 years. St louis, Nashville, Atlanta are the "closest" cities they play. In my case, that would be Chicago, a 4 hour drive, as opposed to the 45 min drive to Indy! They've been known to come here twice in the same tour. Indy's always been a big town, and now they snub us??? At the risk of repeating myself; !
  15. They skipped Indianapolis last summer, and we're still not listed in the new dates, so again I ask; WTF???

    Who is...

Yup, two raving lunatics who pose a genuine security risk to the band...
  17. QUOTE (trenken @ Jul 19 2010, 08:52 PM) QUOTE (ProfGumby @ Jul 19 2010, 08:33 AM) stand back, its a big one..... *RANT MODE ON!* It is a live show! Live! No studio, no editing, no re dub and no do over! That's it! You get what you get, and it was never meant to be CD perfect!!! THERE WILL BE GLITCHES THERE WILL BE EQUIPMENT SNAFU'S ALEX WILL STRAY FROM THE SOLO HE PLAYED LAST TIME THE BAND DIDN'T ASK YOU WHAT TO PLAY THIS BAND HAS ONE OF THE MOST TECHNICALLY COMPLEX SHOWS I HAVE EVER HEARD OF, YET IT STILL WORKS NEARLY FLAWLESSLY EVERY SHOW DUH! GEDDY'S VOICE CANNOT DO WHAT IT DID 35 FREAKIN YEARS AGO SO WHAT IF THE BAND WANDERS INTO NEW GROUND WITH A SONG? IT IS A LIVE SHOW MAN UP, TURN YOUR PANTS AROUND AND PUT THE ZIPPER IN FRONT WHERE IT BELONGS (men only, obviously) *RANT MODE OFF!* Everyone here is pretty well aware of all of this, but the thing is this is a band, one that has been around for a very long time, and this is a message board, one where people are allowed to speak their OPINIONS. Deal with it and move on. I'm convinced the internet is too much to handle for some people, and I really believe there should be an application process before people are allowed to use it. Trenken, I knew this thread would upset you. Btw, you're not too much to handle.

IT IS A LIVE SHOW MAN UP, TURN YOUR PANTS AROUND AND PUT THE ZIPPER IN FRONT WHERE IT BELONGS (men only, obviously) *RANT MODE OFF!* I'm with you Professor. If the whining, complaining horse won't die...keep beating it. It is the same 5 or 6 'fans' that are the habitual repeat complainers. I understand the debating, opinions, expectations and freedom of speech thing. But some seem to go out of their way to complain about anything. Actually they usually wait for someone who is obviously very excited and proud to post something positive about their favorite band.... and bam!!... a negative troll shoots them down. We should appreciate, respect and love RUSH for what they are, not complain about what we think they should be. We will have their CDs for many years after RUSH is gone. A live performance is a special, even rare, event and should be remember for the joy it gave us and not for the disappointment someone else claims we should expect. I'm there too, even though I'm one of those who survived the July 7th show in Chicago. But I agree that show had to be re-scheduled, the whole place was soaked!
  19. Oh ya, those who like to "express their opinions" won't like this thread at all!
  20. QUOTE (Zanadoo @ Jul 15 2010, 04:29 PM) QUOTE (CygXanTor @ Jul 15 2010, 03:54 PM) QUOTE (Mara @ Jul 15 2010, 02:26 PM) QUOTE (the masked drummer @ Jul 15 2010, 03:12 PM) QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Jul 15 2010, 01:56 PM) This thread will not be moved to SOCN. If people are purposely hijacking this thread with political content to try to get it moved or closed, they will be unsuccessful. This thread is staying here, and it's staying open. The only action that might be taken is to split off any off-topic posts into a separate thread, leaving this one on-topic. And open. Thanks, 1-0-0-1-0-0-1, and thanks for taking the time to moderate. Administrate me, moderate me Bravo... I do have one question, and I'm not sure if this has been addressed, so please forgive my ignorance; What advantage is there in purchasing tickets from a broker such as StubHub? Seeme like our friend Chris could have avoided this whole mess if he had gone straight to TM... When tickets sell out really quickly, broker sites are really one of the only options. I can see that, but did this show sell out? I waited 'til the first of July to buy my tix, and got some pretty good (not great, but acceptable) mid-priced seats through TM.
